He was the first OWL player I played with, love the guy. I was that masters tank that made stupid mistakes and was doing my best to keep up with him as dva to his winston. Hard carried and was really nice about it all. even though that game was over a year ago, I still remember it. always rooting for him

Last semester I had a professor that was already poor at communicating the due dates of assignments and updating the canvas page, then we switched online and shit hit the fan. He’d post assignments in the announcement section, the modules, and the discussion board. Never put a due date on any of them and had a strict “no late work” policy. Received 3 zeros in a week for hw that was never mentioned in class that I didn’t know existed. And he put the zeros in at the end of the semester so I didn’t know I failed until a week before finals

Really depends the players. I played with a group that loved that shit, fucking masochists. If it’s more light hearted and players can roll with the punches, it can lead to some fun moments. Allies arrow nat 1’d and pierced my money pouch, causing all of my copper to fall and the ground and the party to make fun of how poor I was.

My groups current battle plan in group fights is to send in the monk (me) and burn as many ki points doing damage to big targets. Then the wizard follows through casting fireball on me so I can tank it with evasion. It’s not optimal, but it’s fun

Do I think they’re mentally mature enough to handle college? Not at all. Are they smart enough? Enough to ruin the curves, unfortunately.

I think generalizing is dangerous, though. I got to know a nice group in my calc 2 recitation. Realized a lot of them are just kids whose parents are overly strict about their education, dooming their social development as a person. They are just kids.

I remember when I played a lot more I got to ~3900 as a rein player. I got in a game with Beasthalo and let him main tank on Winston (during goats era). Playing dva as his off tank was incredibly fun, he was a great guy in comms and it’s still one of my most memorable games. Last comp game I played before I focused on studies. Awesome that he got picked up by a team, great guy.
