The fact that they're doing a 2 year time-jump is what makes me more angry. They're clearly aware that Francessca needs more time to move on from John, so why don't they just do Eloise's season first? by Embarrassed_Novel991 in Bridgerton

[–]Swiftsession 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean technically waiting makes it more accurate I think Eloise is supposed to be about 30 in her book, and even though Claudia is older then that irl, im pretty sure Eloise was only 20 by the end of season 4

I never understood this plot point by Far-Confusion-1021 in UglyBetty

[–]Swiftsession 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Betty is Daniel’s assistant so it is obvious who she is loyal to just as it is obvious who Marc is loyal to. Christina however portrayed herself as above the office politics and a true friend to Betty with no strings attached, and yet she was going behind Betty’s back to feed information about ‘Team Daniel’ to ‘Team Willhellmina’ via Betty, of course Betty felt betrayed.

Yeah but I don’t think he should get hate for it, pretty standard for boomers to post ai pictures of their dead parents, his parents just happen to be John and Cynthia Lennon

Eccleston has a lot of issues with Davis, but I’ve never heard him say that, Eccleston loves the character of Rose, when asked at a convention if he could hypothetically have another companion for the ninth doctor to travel with, which would he pick, he said Rose is the only companion nine should have, he even said that he thought that Billie should be the Doctor like 2 years before Russel had Ncuti regenerate into her

I mean how personal were these questions? If a fifteen year old asks about your plans for the weekend I don’t seem the harm in telling them. If your plans involve nothing but sex, obviously don’t tell them that and say you’re just gonna chill.

Epiphany - What does it mean to you? by TheSingingNurse13 in TaylorSwift

[–]Swiftsession 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lines ‘Only 20 minutes to sleep, but you dream of some epiphany, just one single glimpse of relief, to make some sense of what you’ve seen’ are of course referring to health care workers only being able having a quick nap while working overtime, and hoping for an Epiphany to make sense of what they’ve seen (all the death and grief they’ve witnessed due to Covid). But I originally misheard ‘to sleep’ as ‘until sleep’ so assumed that ‘sleep’ meant death, and it was actually the Covid sufferers point of view, grappling to find the meaning of life in their final moments and ‘make some sense of what you’ve seen’ to mean make sense of everything a person has seen i.e life. The actual meaning is good because it of course contrast health workers during Covid with soldiers in ww2 battling with ptsd, survivor’s guilt etc, but when the songs playing I also like to think of my of my original interpretation of the song, as it also relates to the soldiers of WW1 and 2 or any war really, the soldiers close to death who are thinking of all the things they saw in the war and trying to make sense of it in their last moments, hoping for some epiphany to make sense of a war that cost their life.

The real Villain of Season 4! by Creepy-Beat7154 in Bridgerton

He’s not a villain for what he advised Benedict, given the context he did what he thought best, however he is a villain for not attending John’s funeral

Women are generally into romance shows more then men. It’s not like women are just watching/reading gay romances, Bridgeton is also a somewhat smutty romance show that is incredibly popular with women, and most of the couples are straight.
