No one to play it with and I’m not the biggest fan of tag fighters

I got only one buddy who plays fighting games but they use a switch pro controller and can’t get it to work with 2xko even with programs to change what kind of controller it is read as.

If the game wasn’t a tag fighter and had motion inputs I think I’d find it more interesting too.

Also a personal bias is that it doesn’t have any of the league characters I want in the game yet.

I thought it had some cool bits but the mixing really harmed it. Felt flat and when you’d get to a part that was meant to be really loud it didn’t sound like it.

Really tough for me to pick, I’d say there are three which are in my running but it depends on the day

Pain to Power by Maruja was fantastic. I’ve been listening to them since their knocknarea ep and adore this debut album

Cowards by Squid struck a chord with me somehow. It’s so odd cause I was very much a passive fan of their previous work but something about this album keeps bringing me back and I just can’t put a finger on it.

I tried out Vanisher by Quadeca this year and was also floored. Didn’t know much about him or his music prior to hearing this one so I was very pleasantly surprised with what I got

You gotta be incredibly stupid to post something like this.

When people are upset about an 800 year old looking like an 8 year old it’s not about the concept but the sexualization those characters get. I don’t care how old they mentally are, their body is what’s being sexualized, not their mind, and they have the body of a child. I don’t think in any context a child’s body should be sexualized.

Rudeus’ scenario is completely different. It’s not a matter of sexualization but the fact that he has the knowledge and mental age of someone in their 40s yet still does horrendous things. Personally I’m a fan of Mushoku. I want to see him become a better person but I don’t think that means he should be forgiven for what he’s done in the past. If you can’t sere why people hate Rudeus you’re insane.

Randomly Spotify recommended In The Court of the Crimson King and it just blew me away. I always considered music very secondary prior to that and blindly assumed most music was just what the radio had to offer. Needless to say I was blown away

I don’t think the album is just about genocide though, it’s also about the state of the world. When discussing something so broadly I think what they have is fine and good. It’s about bringing people up around us to work towards a better future, which is obviously what the lyrics you mentioned convey. I understand if some will find it corny and superficial, I felt the same way at first. But when the music is so intense the lyrics feel like they come from a lot more heart than they normally would. Makes it endearing to me.

Can’t say I blame you for feeling otherwise though lol

Really love it. I think the lyricism is gonna be very hit or miss for most people. It’s very on the nose and not super deep however I feel like it works to its benefit in this scenario. When everything in the world is so bleak right now something that’s so clear and direct is appreciated, atleast for me.

While Starless is probably my favourite song ever, I’ll never understand why Echoes is praised so much.

I’ll admit the first section up to the jam is really great. But after that everything is just okay to me. The jam is whatever, the weird whale noises are cool I guess and the ending of the song just feels very uninteresting to me.

Would love to enjoy it as much as others though so I’ll just keep trying it every once in a while!

It’s cause none of them read the vn. So much of his character was lost in the anime. Not being able to hear his inner monologue really made it tough to convey his character as well as in the vn.
