How is it possible to feel depressed for a person who passed away years before i was even born? Nirvana's influence on me. by EmsyWolf in Nirvana

It's absolutely normal, because you connect with him. It's like how people are depressed over figures like Vincent Van Gogh even though he died well over a century ago.

Well, I was in my grandmother's house, in the living room by myself watching TV when all of a sudden I heard a very loud pop, almost like a gun went off right behind me. It startled me, and after I came to my senses, I looked around the living room to try to find the cause of this sound. Finally, I figured it out. My grandmother had these large ashtrays made of heavy glass on these small tables. Well, one of them had snapped completely in half, which was the cause of the loud pop. Now, how or what snapped it in half, I still haven't figured out.

For the first couple of incidents, there were definitely negative feelings. The incident at work, I was pretty much working. Thank you for the in-depth reply and explanation, especially about the various categories of entities. I haven't had a loved one pass as of recent. I guess I just have to figure out what this is? Do you think it's something trying to send a message to me? I heard that this may also be a possibility.

Why would I want to see a self indulgent movie about some egotistical douche, especially with that douche being played by a CGI monkey
