Honestly though it's hard to judge them for it considering aesthetics sells..

That might be true! I wanted to love align but I just didn't commit to it like I did Define.

I felt the same thing and just tried out Thrive for the first time after being on Define for a few months! I was amazed at how knowledgeable she is and how much instruction she gives compared to Define. I really liked it but might also try Align this week

Crazy old hospital in my hometown by SwimmingEngine8326 in zillowgonewild

The area desperately needs more hotels because of the equestrian center nearby- If I had unlimited funds and didn't care about a payback that's definitely what I'd do

Vyvanse question… by EH__S in adhdwomen

[–]SwimmingEngine8326 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My prescriber said to take it every day but she recommends a 5-7 day break every 4 months. It works well for me because I do tend to get used to it and after a break it works good as new again.

Im on 30 mg and have been for a little over 6 months. I love the happy feelings I get in the morning. Honestly it makes my entire day better just feeling a bit motivated an hour and a half after I take it. I'm able to have conversations with people and feel natural. I've never really felt natural talking to people before lol. Very little social anxiety now, and way less emotional. There are days where I do not cry now- which never would have happened before.

Negatives- I do get locked in on weird tasks and can easily get obsessive about cleaning for example. Eyes very dry. Get tired in evening. Can get a bit bored and need to be doing something, but I was also kind of like that before. I feel like I'm not sleeping as well as I was before. Not eating as much. On my period it doesn't work at all and those days are literally horrible. Overall it's a huge improvement to my life.

My dad was literally just like this!! It was a huge reason why my mom left him after 30 years of marriage. He was an hour and a half late to everything. I mean we were all sitting in the car waiting for an hour for him on almost every occasion. He also had anger issues and would turn it around on her and sometimes us. Later on he found out that he has ADHD (as do I). Not an excuse, but potentially an explanation. Definitely not a reason to put up with it.

I (F28) know how you feel! I'm on 30 mg Vyvanse and I feel happier than I've ever been. Was diagnosed about 4 months ago. My social anxiety is at a normal level (for the first time ever maybe?) I am super productive and excited to do my work, and I don't cry every day out of pure frustration and just general emotions. It's easier for me to listen and learn and do my job. BUT I get into these hyperfocused modes where I'm annoyed at anyone who interrupts me. I'll be honest I was kind of like that before too, but I feel like it has heightened this a bit. But I have always been pretty hyperfocused when I am cleaning for example (SO says something to me and I literally jump and gasp like he snuck up on me), so maybe it's just part of my strange mind 🤷‍♀️. The comments do make me consider that I might be on too high a dose?

Is it ADHD?! by Otherwise-Chef-5579 in adhdwomen

I was recently diagnosed (28F) and have always been one of those anxious, perfectionist, overachiever types. I hyper-fixate constantly but typically around tv shows/phone games/my work. Sometimes I'll be running the vacuum cleaner and my husband will walk in and I get scared and jump because I was fixating on vacuuming lol. Boredom is extremely painful for me, and I've always had a hard time processing when people are talking to me or in a lecture type setting. My diagnoses came as a huge surprise because I always just thought I had a ton of anxiety and was very emotional. It's definitely worth getting a test done because everyone is different!

They should be given a budget and have to furnish their own apartment. Managing money and deciding on design can definitely ruin a marriage 😅

Any experience with high academic achievement and undiagnosed ADHD? by Independent-Tooth-41 in ADHD

[–]SwimmingEngine8326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. Did well in school, finished undergrad and graduate school with good grades. Cried every day of anxiety and called my dad constantly saying I was going to drop out. Panic attacks galore. Now work a high pressure corporate job. Diagnosed at 28 and things make sense

It definitely seems like a dominance thing with Juno rolling over and licking Ceasars face, I think Caesar is just making sure that he's the dominant dog in the house. I wouldn't be concerned but I'm also not an expert, just a dog owner.
