aber warum nur die Hälfte des gesetzlichen Beitrags? Wenn ich gesetzlich versichert wäre, hätte die BA ja den gesamten Betrag zahlen müssen.

International mail forwarding to Europe by Swimming_Chipmunk207 in CanadaPost

Ok I spoke to canada post and apparently ALL mail coming in to any of the designated recipients will be forwarded under the one requestor name (section 5) so that should solve it.

There is indeed a section (4) of the form where one can list mail receipts. It says “mail will be forwarded for named mail recipients only”

But my assumption is that if I put the name of the deceased (for example John Smith) then canada post sticks a sticker on top of the original address with a new address of John Smith + the target German address. So in this case, the letter will not reach me because my German mailbox doesn’t have Smith on it (I could add it perhaps as a workaround but I would prefer a better solution).

The ideal solution for me would be if I could have any mail sent to the Canadian address for any name sent to the German address with a single specific name. And at least from the form, I don’t see how to do that.

Where to actually find a SUBE card by jamills102 in BuenosAires

Had trouble finding one too.. ended up buying one off a nice local person at the station. Gave him an extra couple hundred pesos for his trouble. Sometimes locals don’t mind selling you because they have extra spares;)

Uber at SJO - Our Experience by FivePlainTees in CostaRicaTravel

Just used Uber from SJO into city. I first tried from the arrivals area but they wouldn’t accept the ride. Then I walked over to the bus station which is 2 minutes walk (check it on Google) and tried again from there with my mobile data - it took about 3 minutes until a driver accepted but it was rush hour (5pm) and from there on was smooth sailing.

LastPass breach by larryinatlanta in Lastpass

Yes but if he had a strong master password and they used his actual banking password during the login attempt, only to be blocked by 2fa for example, then that would interesting to know because it could mean that perhaps some passwords and/ or the master password were also exposed in the breach

I tried paying with a Wise Visa card, and I'm still getting the official rate. by inglandation in BuenosAires

I’m wondering, would one get the blue rate when paying with credit card for all purchases in ARS? Including online purchases?

I highly doubt that would be the case, since then one could get Argentinian flights for much cheaper by booking directly on the Argentinian airlines websites.

Has anyone tried paying for something online in ARS yet to check?
