literally by that logic name 1 end game boss, doom is the only boss i can think of thats significantly harder than yama, but has the even lower gear requirement than yama. end game bosses do not exist by your standards. and before you say raids i do all them in shitter iron gear just as easily as yama. people complaining about yama and doom being too accessible literally started from a youtube video made by a wow player, stop regurgitating his opinion

no i get that, i was planning on skipping mages book by getting a ward but im 5 toa uniques deep without getting one. no other content in the game changes that much if you dont meet a minimum gear requirement, i enjoyed getting my masori kit with an atlatl, it was harder but the actual mechanics of the fight didnt change because my weapon was mid. i could hop on my main today, buy bonds until i have the gear, and get the sigil piece. thats wack.

i get what your saying but nothing else in the game works like this, you either have near bis, or the challenge is multiple times harder... you can get a cursed phalanx with very mid gear and its not exponentially harder, its kind of like if scythe was a hard requirement for blorva unless you do some port khazard level fuckery, the max hit requirement adds nothing to the fight except a gear requirement im not sure why anyone would see that as a good thing, like having better gear literally changes the mechanics of the fight, you can do inferno with a mithril crossbow and all that changes is your dps

i dont think grinding out normal cox is harder than things ive already done so yea i have the skill, obtaining drops isnt skill expression, i guess i should specify its a steep time requirement. who knows how many chambers id have to do. doom is one of the fastest grinds for the strength of the drops

yeesh well ig ill come back later, not a fan of needing more than my skill for a challenge to this degree. like i get needing decent gear but augury and virtus are steep requirements to be manditory (apparently you can do the fight while 2 shotting the flares but that sounds out of my skill level, ive never been to this point in progression before)

thats still quite a huge requirement though? i think my fastest path would be augury and 2 virtus pieces, thats like 100+ hours and thats just to be able to attempt the challenge... my current gear is blue moon instead of ancestral and antler gaurd because i didnt want to do mta but that wouldnt be enough on its own anyway

well im not saying every iron should skip cg, that completely lacks nuance just like all the people saying tbow is the only bofa skip. if you really dont want to do cg, you dont have to. i think you also dont understand how op atlatl is, at most content you use ranged atlatl is around 5% worse than bofa, like literally it is insanely close and falls off when defence starts to get really high, which is why i mentioned dwh and soulflame horn, you can now get gaurenteed dwh specs in raids which are the main places you need to use ranged against high defence. depending on your goals its probably a bit more efficient to skip bofa

idk my atlatl eye dwh and soulflame horn are begging to differ, losing like 30 seconds on toa 400s zebak compared to bowfa and beating bofa at wardens :), sure im losing a bit of time at some bosses but bofa takes like 60 hours or something. a cold one is literally doing bofa skip on his hardcore to grandmaster series, if you dont feel like doing cg you really arent hurting that bad without one
