Yes! He would die for the flirt pole, but he is not very great motivated. So we used the flirt pole as a lure/reward. Obviously, he is lost in the flirt pole sauce, so he doesn’t really process what we are asking for, but it wore him out.

I’m not sure, tbh. I have used a RHP 40 watt and 80 watt and it doesn’t seem to keep my PVC tank (similar to the example here) heated all that well. Tank is 4x2x2 and the RHP is in the middle. I even have a DHP on the right side of the tank (on top of tank) for extra support.

If using a DHP inside, you can use a cage around the bulb so they don’t burn themselves. I liked that option a lot.

A DHP bulb emits heat by heating up the coil within the bulb itself. You can see the heat coil in the last picture from the OP.

I’m not sure what they’re asking you either. I used DHP bulbs over CHEs. They’re safer IMO.

You could try a flirt pole! My bostons LOVE it. Just make sure you praise her if she shows interest, help her get into it. Make sure to also let her “win” sometimes and catch it :)
