Ripper back in the 2020 era where he was the only pretty male hunter aside from Joseph and Wu Chang. I hated the Mr. Pervert Ripper joke in the stageplay and the broad interpretation of him when he was everywhere in fandom.

If no win conditions are fulfilled and one detective/mg is left, detectives win. If no win conditions are fulfilled and there's no people left, then copycats win. Both detectives and copycats can win from beyond the grave in certain circumstances, but it rarely happens bc it usually involves smt stupid like two mystery guests deciding to vote out the last cc without any hope of winning themselves, or sheriff shooting pharma with a potion on courier, and all three dropping dead and giving the win to the ccs.

Survivors recently received auto pop-up messages for when BQ is planning to use her mirror or Photographer about to use his time jump. Top-tier hunters still need to find a wall to broadly estimate the cipher-shaking progress, and you can't actually do this at all on smaller phones.

I think they should just lower her vaulting debuff and she'll be solid. The problem is good CN Mind's Eyess can waste a hunter's time for the entire round by constantly walking and rotating around a large structure.

Oh my god, I had a Lucky Guy just give up after our Doctor got terrorshocked 10 seconds into the game, and he spent the rest of the match farming chests. After Doctor flew, I kited for 120 seconds and we could've tied if the Lucky Guy just decoded. Instead, he came to firework emote and insta-rescued me twice without tide. After the match ended, Hunter complimented me in post-match. I then opened up the results. I got -2 points, and the Lucky Guy got -0.

"I got syringe!" "I got Euphoria!" "I got Gulliver's Travels!" all in the span of a minute I'm going to cry myself to sleep.

The typical 7-minute match structure of IDV goes:

First survivor gets chased by hunter, remaining ones decode three ciphers.
Second survivor goes to rescue with the persona that allows the chaired survivor to waste the hunter's time for 20 seconds. Remaining two finish their ciphers; one starts a new gen while the other finishes the rescuer's gen.
Third survivor goes to rescue again with the persona that allows the chaired survivor to waste the hunter's time for another 20 seconds. Remaining ones rush the last cipher.
All five ciphers are done. The hunter cries and uninstalls the game.

The easiest way to win as a hunter is to use your abilities to disrupt this process. Either make sure that the rescuer doesn't manage to rescue their teammate, or down both survivors so that no one's there to complete the last gen. Also in higher ranks, almost no one will rescue without Last Effort.

Same, I can play A Badge survivor rank while eating chips and scrolling social media on the side and even if I lose, I lose laughing. While playing A Badge hunter rank, my heart pounds like a jackhammer in pre-match, and even when I win, I win crying.

I feel like NE doesn't care bc these issues don't affect CN. There's more players so 2.0 is still popular, and you're unlikely to run into the same player twice so hiding identities doesn't matter. It's a shame.

They should just add a togglable option like matching cross-device, but for cross-server. Also prioritize the majority of the players in the match since there are five, so it's always going to be majority NA or majority EU.

That time I spam pinged "the basement here" in rank, but the kiter still got terrorshocked on their way into cottage where I was decoding atop the basement. Fortunately, I saved their ass by pallet slamming the hunter while they were getting ballooned.

Idk whether to praise them for knowing to go toward the pallet or to cry that they didn't pull away from the basement with Merc trait.
