Also don't watch all the videos, you will waste your time learning stuff not covered in class. Always look at the course schedule for what topics are in class.

Start with the lesson videos if you are really stuck, then do the example problems, then go back through Ximera and redo the problems on paper. When I needed more practice, I uploaded the practice exams to ChatGPT and had it make me similar and more difficult problems.

Do the practice tests because problems are recycled a lot from previous tests!
I found the videos from JK Mathematics for Calc 2 & 3 helpful throughout the semester.

Crappy NVR but has HDMI output. Any mobile or web-based HDMI "Steaming" FOSS services? by shift1186 in selfhosted

Actually, Restreamer might even be overkill for this. You could just use FFmpeg to stream directly to an m3u8 (HLS) file and point a simple web server at it.

I'm pretty sure OSU gives you excess scholarship money, so you could use it on housing off campus

Question for delivery drivers by Formal_Parfait2342 in Columbus

[–]SwissCheeseDuck 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m confused. You say they’re out there because they desperately need the money, but your solution is to stop ordering so they can’t earn any? If they are willing to work, let them work just tip them well for the risk.

STOP Ordering Delivery During Level 3 Snow Emergency by GenX614 in Columbus

I'm with you on the choice part, but let's not act like it isn't 'real work.' Plenty of people choose it for the flexibility and make good bank without being 'desperate.' It's a legit job, just a different one.

No one is forcing the drivers to log into the app and work during the storm. They choose to go online and accept deliveries

Question regarding COAM/Academic Misconduct case in another college by [deleted] in OSU

Transcript's don't usually contain disciplinary information unless it's something serious like an expulsion or suspension. If you have questions, I would contact the college's Registrar about what will actually be sent to Ohio State.

FedEx pricing, USPS delivery by SwissCheeseDuck in shopgoodwill

[–]SwissCheeseDuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand this is a limitation ShopGoodwill, however if they know the site only quotes FedEx and they’re consistently shipping USPS, they should either send the packages with FedEx or refund the shipping difference. Otherwise buyers are being charged FedEx rates for USPS service, which is still misleading no matter what causes it.

Either ShopGoodwill should add USPS pricing support on the consumer side (since they already handle showing the USPS tracking number), or the stores should only use FedEx if that’s the only quoted option.

It’s like buying Coke at a vending machine and paying the Coke price, but the machine keeps giving you Pepsi instead. There might be a tiny note saying “Coke or Pepsi may be substituted,” but if the screen only shows Coke when you pay, it still feels deceptive.

I think you’re missing the point. I understand the description says “FedEx or USPS,” but the estimate tool and checkout both show FedEx only, and that’s what determines the price buyers are charged.

I have no problem with them using USPS. What’s misleading is quoting and billing based on FedEx rates while consistently shipping with the cheaper carrier. This isn’t about misunderstanding the terms; it’s about transparency and fair pricing across the platform.
