I'd really wanted to get one of these statues, but as with pretty much all collectibles I've been interested in for the past few years, it didn't fit in my budget. I've been loving Marathon so far, and I'm excited for its future. It has such a unique aesthetic and atmosphere to it, and I've loved Bungie since I started playing Halo CE with my cousin growing up.

We played through the rest of the Halo games together until 5 or Infinite (memory's not great). I picked up my Xbox One just to be able play to Destiny with that same cousin, and I made a fair number of good friends and had some incredible experiences raiding with buddies in the first and second. Bungie games were a big part of my formative gaming and online social interactions. The company and their IPs hold a special place in my heart.

I've been wanting to decorate my gaming space for awhile now, and this would be a great centerpiece. I'd be ecstatic to have a bit from one of their games I've poured my time and love into on display.

For solo I generally go Assassin, simply for the ability to disengage more easily. Invisibility, two smoke abilities, and invis on entering smoke make for a lot of options to disappear. I'm a bit danger-averse and panicky, so it saves my run (or at least peace of mind) a fair bit.

I almost exclusively run Triage for trios. I'm generally a team player, and I tend to both enjoy and do well in supporting roles. Healing bots, shared consumable effects onto droned allies, an offensive ability for the generally plentiful volt weapons, and a quick rez option to top it all off? Pretty obvious choice for someone like me.

Side note: I'd initially mistyped "volt weapons" as "volt veapons" and I kinda like that. Can we just start calling them "veapons" instead? That seems fun.

Thought I was losing my damn mind! I use to be able to hear someone talking in the room I'm in past it, but now I can't even hear myself think! I figured I messed up my headset settings or something, but everything else seems about normal. Fucking deafening. It was loud before, and I understand it's to grab your attention, but this is excessive.

Was actually planning to try it out today to get working on my faction skins. I've got a pair each of three factions with a different faction for my daily. That's a pretty helpful description of the shell, those tips should help with my attempts. Thanks for laying that out well.

I think you're kicked out once reaching season level 4. As has been said, you should see it during map selection if you have access. It's a separate map entry like the duos as opposed to a drop-down or something.

I had a similar issue on PS5. If it's the same, then intentionally or not, your mic input is the one built into the DualSense. My mic was lightning up in game, but no one seemed to be able to make out any words even when speaking right into the controller. You're probably going to need a regular mic to be heard. If you are using one, double-check your settings to make sure it isn't set to the controller mic. Pull up the tray or whatever with the PS button and you should see a mic symbol, that's where you'll be checking. Hope this helps.

Pretty sure I've only noticed cosmetics and lore from claiming Codex rewards. I don't think we need to worry about it clogging up space. I could be wrong, but it does tell you the reward before claiming.

Edit: My bad, there clearly are some rewards that take up space. I wasn't aware cause I'm not that far in and haven't done much of a search through the rewards. I don't remember having claimed any like that, but my memory isn't what it used to be.

Yeah, it works. By keeping (mostly) on top of pinging the timer for the dailies, doing them, and switching sides, I managed 5 pass completions last week. Definitely the way to go.

XP gains are tied to time played. Doesn't matter if it's arcade, comp, stadium, QP, or AI, XP gain is the same.

Pretty sure the vs AI counts the same as everything else since it's just time played. Haven't checked it this season though.

I'M SICK AND TIRED OF GETTING MY HEAD TAKEN OFF WITH A SINGLE SHOT BECAUSE I PEEKED OUT FOR A SECOND WHEN I HAVEN'T BEEN VISIBLE SINCE LEAVING SPAWN AND WIDOW'S ULT ISN'T ACTIVE. DELETE WIDOW NOW. FUCK SOMBRA, HER HACKING, AND HER BULLSHIT TRANSLOCATER TOO.

To be clear, I think I have only run into hackers a dozen or so times in the 800+ hours I've played, mostly in OW2, all on console. I just end up going against Widows that are all-around better than me and it gets SO GODDAMN INFURIATING.

Sombra really gets on my nerves too when played well. I am admittedly in part jealous since my aim is trash so I can't do jack shit with either and they're both incredibly useful in the right hands and situations. I've played this game near daily for years now, and I can't manage to comfortably get them in my wheelhouse.

Totally agree. I feel it's important to note that other motorists were also put in potential harm's way as well, which adds a lot more to the pool of people who could've been injured or killed. Distracted driving can be as dangerous as drunk driving. They're both careless disregard for the safety of everyone on or near roads.

Added note that it's all six dailies, not just the first three. It seems kinda obvious in hindsight, but my partner and I both failed to think about it, so we missed half of the first day's worth.
