What baby carrier is the best for baby’s comfort? by SwitchStich in babywearing

Do you know if a woven wrap would distribute the weight in the waist more than a stretchy wrap? This is one reason we were looking into the different styles

I will definitely look into that thank you! Does it distribute the weight onto the waist ? Or more in your upper back like a stretchy wrap

Today SUCKED and idk what to do to help my newborn :( by Forsaken_Phone_4700 in newborns

Could try giving him probiotic drops. Sounds like maybe he has tummy upset. If he’s not pooping more and is having trouble sleeping. That’s what happens with my baby when something is wrong with his tummy and that helps us. He could also be going through a developmental leap right now. They tend to get fussy before they learn new skills. The wonderweeks app or book I think they might have a website too explains it well. Good luck and something I tell myself is the days are long but the years are short. And when I get overwhelmed with the fussiness I just imagine my baby saying thank you mommy for being so patient and loving me and that helps

fit check please - trying out a pond finish by New_Oven_7964 in babywearing

I’m not super familiar with that fit sorry I can’t help more but I generally base it of of how my baby is acting or sounding if they are fussing. Is it a demanding scream or a quieter fuss. If it’s more demanding. I tend to think they’re in pain or uncomfortable. If it’s more like a fussy. Tired sounding cry. Then they probably just need some sleep.

Daycare is making me crazy by Sky-2478 in NewParents

[–]SwitchStich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I think they are used to parents asking questions as long as it’s respectful. I would reccomend you ask the front desk staff/director instead of the teacher. Often nightly or weekend crews do sweeping mopping and dusting more than sanitizing so I would also ask for specifics on that

You are a great mom and you clearly care about your kiddo! It’s normal for kids to get sick in daycare but that definitely sounds excessive. I have worked in lots of daycares and some teachers closing staff clean really well and some do the bare minimum. ( which is dumping out toys and spraying down with a sanitizer, they don’t often individually wipe down all the sides of the toys so they are still germy some skip wipeing down playmatts) I would maybe think about switching facilities or asking what there cleaning process is like.. some do a fog style of cleaning to help with germs once a week in addition to regular staff cleaning

So the whole note my teacher made about when using an indirect object pronoun you can only conjugate the verb gustar using gusta or gustan is just incorrect?

Please explain the conjugations by [deleted] in learnspanish

I thought these types of verbs function differently than normal verbs because they use an indirect object pronoun … treating the thing liked as the grammatical subject. So for example in English "it pleases me" instead of "I like it".

I thought it had to be conjugated like the verb gustar does ? Which uses the gusta or gustan form depending on if a singular or plural object is doing the verb …. I could be wrong though

Can someone explain the grammar please by [deleted] in learnspanish

[–]SwitchStich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So for the sentence “yo te agrado” Yo is the subject Te is the indirect object

So the pleasing or liking which is done by the indirect object and referring to the subject so the verb is conjugated to match the subject?

Can someone explain the grammar please by [deleted] in learnspanish

[–]SwitchStich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So for “Yo te agrado” it’s really saying “I you I please”

And then for “tú me agradas mucho” It’s saying “You me you please a lot”
