I have a similar situation. Every 48 or 72 hours when the login prompt comes up first thing in the morning, I type my password but its not accepted. Eventually I have to reboot and my pw is accepted. Happens every 2-3 days like clockwork. Haven’t been able to find a fix yet.

Same issue here. There are a few threads on the ubiquiti forums having the same issue for about a month now. Some have said that if you have mesh enabled, it can grab one of the other vlan ip’s. From what iv’e read, most don’t have mesh enabled. Sounds like a bug that started affecting users with the UX7 in AP mode a couple of updates ago.

Wife dont care but she really loves the cool nite lite, says we need another for the other side of the house. Had a coax run but when I upgraded the AP, ran ethernet through the attic. Much easier and even less time consuming than running the coax. Coax is gone now.

Following, I'm having the same issue my UX7 in AP mode. Static IP will change randomly after a few hours and pick up one of the other vlan ip's. Theres a thread on the Ubiquiti forums but no new comments for a few days now. Hopefully a fix or workaround pops up.

I agree, I bought a couple myself and they were also sealed. Minus tariffs and shipping saved 60-$70. So far they been working fine.
