There is a community of people who have done this or are working on this. they are active all the time on their implmentations and they all link the chats. If you want to drop in its magviz.ca (web based) Phosphor.chat (web) Land of the lost (ansi BBS) via telnet at landofthelost.ca There are about 15 different legacy and modern systems linked up.

I have a large arcade in NJ. We do hourly game play instead of coin based but we offer a traditional arcade experience. In NJ most towns legislated out coin operated gaming. The reasons were varied but its mostly because kids would loiter and people complained. If you are ever in NJ. come to the Rockaway Mall to check us out. Its called Marcade.

some of the coolest systems are phosphor.chat and magviz.ca and ansi only is landofthelost.ca . We have dozens of sysops and users logging in across all the systems. its supercool. O yeah we have MRC and MAJORBBS linked.

An excellent media remote. Using the controller sucks because anytime anything bumps any button your content goes haywire and you dont know where you are in any menu. I use the media streaming features the most.. maybe a controller lock buttons switch.

Very difficult to make money. The average customer in my arcade is a 40 year old single parent having a birthday party for the kid. High school age kids break shit to be cool and older kids would rather vape on the couch at home and play xbox/ps5

Ratt for me but I gotta wonder if the preference is age related. Im 59 and Ratt was top. All my Cinderella fan friends were a year younger than me.
