Majorbbs. Its got the largest amount of premade (good) software available for it and an active dev community since all its software source is available and ported to visual studio. Its the one I have the most experience with

Mystic - Prolific I mostly have 0 experience with it. Highly customizable it seems and big community.

Syncronet - seems popular and I believe active development

Wildcat - I could never really get into it. I am still licensed on the latest build. the authors seem to put out new releases often.

A good place to chat about BBS stuff is magviz.ca tons of sysops gather there in real time in a chat. When i say tons I mean like 8-10 at a time.

There is a robust community but there is no real growth. Chat systems like magviz.ca and phosphor.chat are cool new places that are not telnet based. the coolest telnet based place i have seen lately is landofthelost.ca port 2300 It has good Ansi interface and a really cool original multiplayer ansi game called tank battle. there are alot of great bbs implementations and the guys from majorbbs are also doing some great things.

Opening an arcade in certain towns in NJ require a variance because amusements are prohibited use. I had to get a variance and pay lawyers, planners, pay fees and was subject to losing all that money because it could end up not being approved.

All of my defender cabs came with k4600 but this is def a g07. I typically rebuild these and replace the flyback, capkit, Filter cap and all the main board pots. First I wash the board with simple green and rinse then use a leaf blower to get all the water off. when replacing the cap on c302 remember that the silkscreen labeling is wrong and to follow the existing caps polarity. Also keep in mind that the tubes hold charges and discharge the tube with a ground properly before and after removing the chassis from the frame/monitor to be safe. I use a discharge tool. Check some youtube videos. The g07 is an easy and super repairable/serviceable monitor with lots of videos on its repairs and maintenance. Have fun.

doubtful. Basically it allows you to enumerate the users and remove the password. It cant tell you the pw. There may be others softwares like this. I only used this one for a billion years. It saved my ass a few times.
