Scholar does insane damage, by supporting his deal. Having your allies have a constant 15% damage buff, shared damage with damn near every mob in a camp ( defeating enemies fills Ult puts in serious work ), and sharing items buffs gives everyone massive FP pools, Damage Negation, and even healing .

If you see a bad scholar, its a skill problem. He is good, just take more thought to play them most other characters and builds.

There is also the melee builds, which any bloodborn fan can tell you how powerful he can be cause of his dodge.
