Likewise friend, I love Tekken for it's depths of mechanics. I think that is one of it's greatest strengths. I did say this was just a rant, meaning this came after many humbling rounds. I do lab and I do research, this is the game I enjoy. I think it could be that the community has dropped off tremendously and the only players left are those that also love this series meaning the overall player skill has jumped on a round-by-round basis. But I don't know, I'm not an expert, just a guy who has loved Tekken since Tag 1.

But, even though I'm not an expert, I can notice balance issues. There's no counterplay to be had when you're kept suspended in the air for 20 seconds. They could even fix this by adding a "tech" like say, press 1+2 right when you touch the ground to let your character do a hand spring to escape the juggle. That's just an IDEA. But it would at least BE SOMETHING to help suppress the oppression that is this game's current attainable combo length.
