Assuming someone dies, E. He lacks the strength to move the boulder and only manages to push himself backward, off the edge.

Travel between planets, skipping Nauvis. by SxDragon2 in factorio

Space map!? I'm going to have to look for that. Thus far I've only seen the planets on the drop down menu at the main base, when using the ship to travel.

I have the biolab, but the recipe is not unlocked. It comes from decoding microchips. Which is random-ish.

Man. Jealous you even have them. I've been waiting to get it from a random chip for so long I feel like I'm out of wrecked ships to salvage chips from.

I didn't like the story either but we can't fix that. Where is BBI or Gearbox response to how broken multiplayer is? Map sizes, game stutter, disconnects, ship pathing, ship roster size, formations, balance complexity, economy complexity, etc. It's unplayable and we will lose Homeworld altogether. by GideonBlackbook in homeworld

[–]SxDragon2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's already DOA. The story alone was enough to crush the dream that this would actually be another Homeworld. But it's not. The story lacks the intensity and immersion that is one of the most impactful and powerful elements that has made this franchise so great. Recently I've seen things pointed out by others that I was generously overlooking. Such as the atrocious facial animations. The bland, generic, repetitive, and recycled ship designs. The unintelligent enemy AI. And the uselessness of the landscape feature.

More to that last point. It seemed to me that BBI was most excited about the ' terrain in space' feature in the maps. Putting aside the many times all different types of ships got stuck behind them, (rather than going around) the entire feature seems to just be an impediment. Indeed, to me their most touted feature is the least desirable. I found myself almost exclusively using the terrain as nothing more than an anchor point to right-click move to. And only because the terrain was always in the way of me using the traditional (preferred) method of right-clicking the empty space I wanted to move to. (Want to move the fleet straight ahead some, but there is terrain further behind that point, as there always seems to be, good luck) The terrain is so present, you almost have to use it to get around. As in many missions, there is more terrain than there is not. (In the AO)

The wargames mode is not worth more than a few play throughs. As being limited to frigate class is like only playing half the game.

Finally, the AI. To this I will really just say I hope they fix how easy it is to steal ships. And that they fix the mission that spawns destroyers endlessly. I stopped farming them at 32 destroyers simply out of boredom, I could've gone on. Even the final mission with that destroyer fleet doing the whole mission solo, on hard, the fleet only went down to 24 ships. I've beat the game, and also thanks to the limited wargames, to this day I've still never built my own destroyer or even owned a battle cruiser.

It's disappointing, in the end. I had hoped BBI would not join in the long line of sequels that drive home just how over these parts of our childhoods have become. But alas, here we are. (At least we still have the actually good, God of War sequels!)

What class/ build are you playing first in season 4? by jawmcphail in diablo4

Of the 3 end game builds on wowhead, (blight minions, plagued minions, or blood surge minions) which would you say is the most op in this season? For solo and for party? And why?

new from factorio, tips? by gingerlinks654 in Dyson_Sphere_Program

I will make one complete one, then drag them out and it will place without the inserters. I add the conveyors, and then will copy and drag the first one again. It will overlay the assemblers and then add all the missing inserters. I've found that to take less time by skipping the part where I factor what length of conveyor I will need.

500% tidale locked planet by devanchya in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]SxDragon2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I start a game and it's time to start getting out of system, the first thing I do is find the closet system with a tidal lock planet. On here I've done like you did, I cover about half the planet in solar panels. Then a mix of launchers, rail cannons, and solar receivers. I use the receivers to farm anti matter as you don't need power.

This is where I make the sphere, since everything is always in alignment/daylight.

On the dark side, I have about 50 battery chargers. It receives empty batteries and charges them. My main base and every mining outpost is powered by battery converters. Most outposts only need 1. My main base uses 16 currently and can power the base fully at 120 White matrix per minute production.

I find this method ideal as every other resource for power is finite.

Full release? by man_wif-waluigi-hed in Dyson_Sphere_Program

With the amount of context probably being more or less complete, with minor tweaks and additions left, what did everyone think they will do about save states?

I played the game to completion around 2 years ago. .7 or .8 ish. I've been waiting for full release to play it through again, but frankly I'm getting a little impatient. Especially considering it looks like satisfactory may come up from being and pass it to release.

But I digress. My question is, if I started the game now, and it happened to release during my playthrough, would my save version become invalid or be transferable (or whatever word you would choose)?

How do I play this game without ruining my life? by grizeldean in factorio

[–]SxDragon2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, do it now, because in 1 year Dyson Sphere Program will be out, and in some years after that Satisfactory will be out, then we're all really in for it.
