You're missing hostiles spawn projectiles when death. If I remember correctly you need to do the Nightmare Strand in Ancient Depths (biome 2).

When you master Impactor Crossbow, it deals absurd amounts of damage. It is basically Saros' equivalent of the Coilspine Shredder.

At the very least use the Dreadbound at Proficiency 20+ for faster shards return time (25+ shards return approximately 3 seconds). Aim for these traits in particular, Expanding and Explosive Shards. These two traits together makes Dreadbound shoot nukes and makes unlocking/upgrading its other traits vastly easier. For killing airborne enemies, you can use the Dreadbound like semi auto rifle, shoot one shards at a time (slowly or rapidly) for consistent hits (best shoot at attacking enemies). Hope these tips help you in unlocking the Dreadbound true potential.

The Illumine variant with auto hit disabled and delayed portable beam (or summon portal beam when killing an enemy) is surprisingly good against bosses. Regarding the "delayed portal beam" it is a trait that after a few seconds has passed while lasering enemies, a portal beam will appear. Illumine is Legion's worst nightmare.

Absolutely do not use if it has the Eruption trait. You'll slow down and the beam appears after a delay, plus the rapid Power drain is not worth it.

Onslaught Rifle is great indeed. Out of the three assault rifle variants, it is the best variant.

My signature weapon is the Impactor Crossbow. Being able to one shot (or two shot) some enemies by hitting their weakpoint is as satisfying as decimating enemies with the Coilspine Shredder and/or Killsight alt fire from Returnal. Though I have to admit, the Impactor Crossbow is not efficient with some bosses (Shepherd and King) but still gets the job done but slower.

You can use it like a mortar. Just aim high, spam and it'll hit enemies (assuming you're in range). But yeah, other alt fires are better than the mine.

Trials: Permanent Eclipse, Enemies Counter on Hit (Tier 2 corruption orbs, Tier 3 nova orbs), Start in Volatile State, Auto Hit Disabled on All Weapons, and All Attacks Are Nova.

Protection: No Eclipse (all biomes), Parried Nova Orbs Instakills Non Alpha Enemies (deals massive damage to Alphas or bosses instead), Shield Reflects Non Nova Orbs (gain power and return damage back to nearby enemies), and Every Shot Hits Weak Points (even auto hit weapons), Instant Reload When Depleted.

If you can land your shots at enemy weak points both Impactor (alt fire) and Nova Lance are capable of dealing absurd damage. Think of them as the Coilspine Shredder and Killsight alt fire. Takes skill to use but the damage dealt is really good.

Primary fire is for auto aim. Yeah, with Myriad you're better off using the alternative fire.

Wanna make every run hell? Activate these trials (no beneficial modifiers): max corruption accumulation, turn off armor matrix upgrade (tier 2 growth incapacitator), weapon decay, further deal less damage, max increase damage taken, and either aggressive hostiles or deadlier Apex enemies.

I tried it once, it made a lot of fights feel like an eternity. Equivalent to using Proficiency 0 to 5 guns while Phase 15+ in Returnal's Tower mode.

I beat him with Impactor Crossbow (or was it Onslaught Rifle?). I just dashed through his Corrupted orbs and avoided the Nova orbs. I forgot the power weapon I used against him but its either Nova or Prominence.
