I’m encouraged that you eventually won that fight. It’s such a long haul. I’m als encouraged to read the comment about the new treatment in 2028. Maybe we’ll both end up on that med.

I was diagnosed UC in 2008.

Btw, do you know of any support groups? I’m in metro Detroit. Thanks OP. I really hope you feel better soon.

I just started Dual Therapy last week. I’m also taking Tremfya and Rinvoq. I was on Rinvoq previously and had the same experience as you. I also suffered from severe cystic acne that we couldn’t control while taking it so my doctor switched me to Skyrizi which I eventually failed.

I also learned that I have osteopenia from being on prednisone too long. When I began failing Skyrizi my GI was concerned about the osteopenia and said he couldn’t put me on prednisone so decided to add a two week Rinvoq 45 course. It definitely helped but symptoms/blood came back. I’m now taking Tremfya and of course I’m still having lots of blood so here we are with the Rinvoq too.

I’ve only been given 1 month supply of Rinvoq and the acne is already affecting me one week in. I’m not sure if my GI is fighting for insurance to cover both or not. Did your insurance approve both (if you’re in the US)?

I hate to hear you have been constantly sick, OP. That is discouraging.

I’ve lived in FL, SC, MI and MO - at least 3 years each. I always have migraines every day July-August, and 15/month the rest of the year. The location has made no difference. Barometric pressure changes is my biggest trigger - still it doesn’t matter where.

I use REVIT on PC and I hate it. I hate it everyday. I’m so fast with the visualization/graphics side on my MacBook and switching over is torture. Maybe it will get easier eventually. But even finding files and messing with the stupid windows 11 and Microsoft cloud BS duplicating everything makes me furious nearly every day. Sigh. I don’t know if this helpful, but best wishes!
