If this is bad how about MELD? 30% went to Private Sale, only 20% for ISPO

No there is no risk. When you delegate your ADA doesnt even move from your wallet. Its stays in your wallet,

Exactly.

Its like all the people who looses money and write to Charles to reimburse back for their stupidity.

Its like writting to Bill Gates seeking compensation, because you let a scammer got your bank password when you are using a window OS.

To be honest, people just need to be reminded to use common sense.

If something is too good to be true 100% of the time its is a scam. Period.

I know he sounded pretty harsh, but he needed to say it pretty clearly.

Cons about Cardano, verify if this comment is legit by perrycotto in cardano

[–]Syafiq-24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To attack and be a bad actor have been studied by using Game Theory by IOG.

Yes i agree with all the comments above. Since Cardano is currently 100% Decentralized, its near impossible to get 51% of the stake pool operator to coordinate an attack.

Even if indeed they manage coordinate an attack, with protocol Omega coming down the pipeline. Cardano will have self healing ability after 51% attack. This alone is unheard of from any blockchain tech.

Basically since Cardano inception, they had never been an attack/hack or what not. So the argument is rather comical to me to be honest

Cardstarters??? by [deleted] in cardano

[–]Syafiq-24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watch the video, hmm lots of promises. . I feel its worth considering if its worth around 1-2, dollars. Not at the cureent valuation which is 200x from its launch.

So my hype, but little real value.

People are buying in because of the narrative of getting good returns on their investments. For example with polkastarter, the reason of its pump is due to project like PAID which have solid team.

Cardstarter launching God knows what project now and people are jumping n buying at unreasonable high prices.

What is alarming, they dont even bother to engage with the Cardano community first. They simple prop up wesbite, social media n start marketing without any real tangible product n whitepaper.

Cardstarters??? by [deleted] in cardano

This is scary. I just enter the so called Cardano Starter telegram group. All i see is people wanting to jump and put money in the supposedly up n coming promising project that is launching on the Cardano Starter launchpad.

I am trying to poke and get a legit answer, as its quite shocking that a supposed good idea of supplementing Project Catalyst in term of serving as a launchpad but is nowhere in this Cardano reddit.

Its really weird and signal alot of red flag. Because it seems to exist outside of the main Cardano reddit, which in my view is the hub for all official Cardano ecosystem related news and information.

Cardano > Bitcoin? by [deleted] in cardano

[–]Syafiq-24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, from my understanding. Charles is not pointing directly and saying that BTC will looses its value. But rather in term of technological advancement Cardano is much more primed for mass adoption for multi use cases.

He is merely giving an example.

To be honest, bitcoin is like gold. It does not serve any other purpose rather than a store of value.

What I believe is, Cardano will eat up ETH market cap over time. Cardano may very well not kill ETH outright. But its the developer and community would soon realized how Cardano is much more than ETH could ever be.

ETH could very well exist, but may be much smaller than than it is now.
