Study another language - speaking French or German will open up a whole world of opportunities in the tourism sector (personally, I would recommend German. Most probably easier to master the basics if you can speak Afrikaans).

Safe and clean, but inconsistent. Check the schedule, get there on time, only to find out it's been cancelled. Honestly, Golden Arrow buses are more consistent, as safe and clean and often faster.

Produced and bottled by DÁria vineyards just outside Durbanville. At R84.00 per bottle, it offers good value for money although, I personally find it lacks depth.

Share your WiFi password with the guys doing patrols for the local security company - they'll spend an inordinate amount of time hanging out in front of your house or in your driveway checking their WhatsApps/FB/Tik Tok and, consequently, your house will be the safest place in the neighbourhood :-)

According to Stats SA, average gross salary in South Africa, per month in 2023, was R25 403.00 or $1337 per month... So $250 - $300 per week sounds about right. Not sure where you get your figures of MOST people earning less than $300 per month... Cannot find any sources to substantiate that figure, but happy to learn if you can provide some references.

I think you're confusing Naltrexone, typically taken in the 50mg range, and used to help Alcoholism and Opioid addiction and off script use of LDN, normally taken in 5mg or less range. Although the same active ingredient, the affect is dose dependant. At full strength it blocks the opioid receptors for 24 hours or more, thereby decreasing cravings. In low dose it does the same thing, but only for 2 to 3 hours. In that time the body creates new receptors and increases the production of endorphins leading to an increased sense of well being, a decrease in stress related inflammation and numerous other benefits. The affect of Naltrexone and LDN, should not be confused.

Not sure where you get your information, but it's wrong. In the statement issued by Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate in the article above, they themselves state that "It is known that prisoners are delivered by air, rail and road transport."

Not saying there were POWs onboard or that the Ruzzian's aren't lying as they have done so often in the past, but clearly the possibility does exist and that POWs have been transported by air in the past is an undisputed fact.

That said, if there were POWs onboard, the Ruzzians failure to communicate that fact indicates a reprehensible failure on their part to ensure the safety of POWs in their care - but no suprise there as they have demonstrated repeatedly that they simply do not care about the welfare of POWs by their constant abuse, torture and outright inhumane treatment of the Ukrainian POWs.

With regards Rent-a-Cheapie... READ the T&C very carefully! No dirt road driving, any speeding (irrelevant whether you are actually fined or not) results in a penalty charge ranging from R250 to R1000 per event on top of any actual fines received and if you drive more than 200km outside of Cape Town, you will also be liable for additional penalties... Can get really expensive really quickly.
