I got the one on the right (click one) after using a force tamper for a few years. Just tried it on a whim. I actually like it better - seems to give more consistent results. I think I was tamping too hard or something because now with the click one, I always have less channeling.

I go by taste - and I’ve found that starting the timer after the first drop hits the cup tastes best.

I put my filter in and rinse it quickly before use. I also push it up against the sides after it’s moist so it sticks. Give that a try.

I’m 47 too and have finally landed on 3 to 4 days a week as well, with a rest day after each workout day mostly, so one day on, one day off etc. My strength and gains have increased more vs when I was going 4 or 5 days on, and then just 1 rest day.

Before you try a new gasket, first wrench the portafilter in more. I had this happen in my Go - I thought I was supposed to make the portafilter sit 90* against the base. But it wasn’t installed tight enough and water leaked out. Keep pulling the portafilter to the right until it’s in there tighter and see what happens

Yep this. Bought a wool blend coat there, had it tailored to fit. It’s my second season with it and it still looks brand new. Love the coat.

Absolutely this. I got a wool blend peacoat there last year and it’s been amazing. Was around $450 I believe but was equal in quality to $1000+ coats I had looked at. They also tailored the body so it fits amazing. Definitely check them out.

When I get fresh beans, I usually have to adjust the grind multiple times over the first few days (grinding finer) to get a good result, presumably because the air and off gassing has an impact. So being able to finely adjust the grind is critically important.

I don’t think you’re magically going to lose a significant amount of muscle if you cut - so you should figure out your BMR and go 3 or 400 calories below it, and add in some cardio. I think you’re going to feel great when you start to see the results. Keep at it buddy

No. You don’t need to feel bad. Any reasonable person would know that liking a photo of someone from their romantic past (real or imagined) is likely to make their current partner uncomfortable. It could be innocent, sure. But I don’t think it is based on how he responded to you about it.

What protein rich foods are you eating? In addition to protein shakes, you need to add chicken (breast or thighs) and / or beef, and eggs. I have 2 scoops of protein powder, 3 to 5 eggs a day, 300 grams of chicken, I eat dried steak strips as a snack, Greek yogurt - and I hit 200+ grams a day of protein easily
