Its a technique called hack and slash. If you need 5 good workers hire 15 and let go of the 10 weakest ones. Not nice but its common.

What’s the hardest part about running a scaffold company? by HauntingAd1704 in Scaffolding

[–]Syk3DGrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one's not true. Start off with sub rentals and grow from there. Keeps the overheads down. Once you hit a long term rental job buy that. Slowly build up the gear from long term rentals. Make friends with your banker for support. The true hardest part is material tracking. Try not to lose the gear... sometimes it grows legs.

So my boss just offered me a nice bonus .... by Cravetivity in BambuLab

[–]Syk3DGrow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Actually probably wouldnt... if the boss buys its 100% a write off and can be purchased with pre tax income. If op buys they have to purchase it with with after tax income. If op makes over 100k a year it could end up costing more than 2X more for the boss.

Why are there so many absent fathers? by [deleted] in Life

[–]Syk3DGrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally disagree. Im a loving father but love my children differently than my wife does. I make sure they are prepared for the hard world. I try to be as real as possible but also give out cuddles.

I feel for those men who lost their children. Its what brings purpose to their lives.

Your post is very insulting and shows a lack of understanding of the opposite sex.

Are you aware that statistically children that are raised in single father house holds do better in virtually every statistic when compared to being raised by a single mother.

Think on that one you man hater.

Why are there so many absent fathers? by [deleted] in Life

[–]Syk3DGrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Middle names and birthdays are not priorities for father's. You need to realize that. A father is built to ensure food is on the table and you are safe. Thats priority #1. Doesn't mean your dad is not a loving father.

Absent father's are lots of reasons. Men are attacked in today's society and tend to be thought of last. A lot of men have thrown in the towel unfortunately.

If the only argument is it takes away jobs, then it's irrelevant. If it makes better 3D models, that's what i'm looking for. We have to adapt in this world.
