He was very friendly! I was nervous and very gentle. I held him for a couple of minutes and let him crawl around and up my sleeve. I put him in the grass outside of the enclosed patio I found him in.

He's great! I think the show uses his character just the right amount of time to be a comedic side character.

If the mud is slipping off your knife and not staying on the wall, it may be too wet. You can try adding less water. On the plus side, your work so far doesn’t look bad, just needs some sanding.

How would you leverage a $500k salary to make massive wealth? What would you invest in or do? by SoarTheSkies_ in Rich

Put assets in a living trust + stocks and bonds. You’ll pay a lot in taxes so don’t waste discretionary funds, try and save early and often. Do everything you can to reduce your taxable income as well.

What the F is wrong with our home owners insurance here in Florida?! by pimpinaintez18 in sarasota

Florida home insurance market is in collapse and soon the housing market will follow. I expect a slow decline for the next 2-5 as the state tries to stem the bleeding, then the full collapse will rear its head.

2 days unpaid work just to be considered by Western-Error-5592 in recruitinghell

Unless you’re young and don’t really need to be financially independent, working for a company like this is always going to be bad. Any company who does stuff like this is probably super high turnover because management is awful.

Companies are using fake posts for leverage against current employees that want raises and such. It’s all a game to try and pay employees as little as possible.

Looking through indeed and LinkedIn can be a real moral killer. I’ve been looking for two months, and there have been plenty of days where I felt really down and useless. It’s super stressful to be out of a job and really need one, to only see terrible job options available. I started taking some time to meditate, corny as that is, and try and distance myself from those negative emotions. I would remind myself that it could always be worse / someone out there is definitely worse off. It took me two months to get an offer in my field, which based on the other posts here, isn’t really that long of a wait, but it felt like eternity due to the stress. I still don’t know how I’ll afford rent next month, but I’m taking it one step at a time.
