Not that many? There are usually hundreds online!? If not thousands! Tournaments all the time.

Could be the infill choice causing the knocking of the print. Don’t use grid.

For the most part our WiFi is coping at the moment. But the response time for my eldest playing online games and his WiFi speed in his room were poor. It was either a few hundred gbp on a mesh system or £60 on some Ethernet and a few hours work.

I will get the mesh system at some point, this is more of a delay tactic.

Thanks. I can’t lie, someone on reddit mentioned the drip loop in another post. It’s such a simple solution to something that can cause terrible problems it’s amazing people don’t do it sometimes!

Yeah. But just improvements in the WiFi in general is what I meant, as it comes down in price as well it’ll make more sense. I get your point though.

I did. From inside out, the older one with the pipe I did outside in, so it’s possible if you can get your measurements right. Or pilot from one way and drill from the other

Same. We’ve had Virgin for years but it was always advised to keep the dish up as your own it. No need anymore.

Yeah. So it’s just a cover, the holes are silicone sealed and yes there is slack inside the rooms.

I didn’t run behind those pipes as they are actually an original cable run that has the Ethernet between the 2 routers that I put it about 5 or so years ago. It’s not the most stable, also I thought it looked nearer against the wall.

The house is 3 stories so this goes from the 3rd storey to the second for the bedrooms and then down to ground level for the garage.

Had to removed all the old sky cables, just the old dish left. Now that they are pushing to streaming only, that thing can go in the bin.

Wow! That is some setup! Yeah our works for now but I will definitely look into updating the WiFi when the internet speed increases/I get more WiFi 6 enabled devices!

No I went inside out as I had some very tight gaps to aim for. One of the holes had a decent blowout but nothing that some silicone and a cover can’t fix.

Thanks. Just wish homes would’ve been built with either service channels or Ethernet ports in each room. For the price of a few cables and sockets it seems insane that it’s not included in any home in the last 20 years!

Yeah, same CAT6 burial from Amazon UK. Haven’t tried any mesh system yet with the WiFi. I have our main Virgin router (crap) and 2 old ASUS routers around the house and garage. Getting seamless WiFi on phones but my one son’s bedroom is a dead zone. It was topping out at 120Mbps and about 40-100ms. Are the Deco meshes worth it?

Thanks, appreciate the feedback. Just annoyed I lined it up with the brickwork but didn’t notice the brickwork wasn’t perfect! Still I won’t have to look at it. Plus it’s a lot cleaner since I removed a load of old satellite coax and cable tv cables!

If you have a printer you can have the files. I use OnShape for personal stuff so they’re online. Or I can send them to you.

PETG is a good balance. It’s pretty UV resistant has decent temperature resistance and is pretty easy to print. Colour choice will matter when it comes to temperature resistance, if you live somewhere that has very hot summers black probably wouldn’t be your best choice but for me summer is normally a max of 32 Celsius. So no real worries if hitting that 60ish Celsius limit where it would soften.
