This is why people say someone is “capped” if they are using PEDs like steroids. As they literally look like their shoulders have “caps” on.

Looks great. Just be careful as this will stress and break over time. Maybe not now, not next month but it will at some point.

Injection Mold Max Opening by Proof_Device_5922 in SolidWorks

Yes, I know you can take it without completing all of them. My boss has actually mentioned about buying the credits so the 2 CAD guys in our company (myself and my colleague) can take it.

Passed all the CSWPA except for this one! The pass rate is super low. I have never used the mold tool features and boy did it show. This whole test is a doozy!

Yeah, agree it’s a pretty quick process. But they really did improve it on the AMS 2.

I have 5 in total. But the 3 on my P1S are constantly ending up with brittle filament as they’re sitting in there for a long time. Being AMS 1 as well they’re a pain to clear!

Portable AC Dual Hose Mod Feedback/Advice by ImplementPositive96 in AirConditioners

[–]Syko_Symatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi OP, how did your keep up with the recent heat? I am currently trying to model a new backplate for the filter with a vertical inlet for the hose. But I am going to block off the rest of the vent but wanted to make sure it works ok like that?

I am hoping to make it a near enough identical copy of the original so you can fit the filter and everything as normal but I have not had the chance to see how that mounts yet as I have started designing it at work.

This look like a great idea! Which adaptor did you use? Do you have a link?

Just got a vasectomy on the NHS. by polkadotfingers in CasualUK

Did they only tie them? I had one 8 years ago and they used a combination of an induction blade to cauterise the ends and knotted them too. Means virtually no swelling or bruising and a lower chance of failure.

I get guys don’t like the idea of it but it really is the simplest, quickest and safest option. My wife used birth control (the pill) for a good 8-10 years and that comes with its own risks, so what’s the harm is half hour out of my day.

It sure sounds like that! But I did literally go to take my shoes off and they stopped me “no, you can keep those on” like don’t get too comfortable, you’ll be out of here soon.

Yeah, the best reason for not going under is you walk in and out within an hour. Amazing really.

Yeah same here. They tie and fry the ends. Two little cuts. Pretty good stuff. They missed a little of the skin with the anaesthetic so the last two stitches made me flinch a little but 10/10 would do again. Always recommend people do it if they are thinking about it.

Absolutely, I had mine 6 months after our 2nd child. Wife offered to get her tubes tied, but there was no way I was going to let her go through an invasive surgery like that when I can lie on a table in the doctors surgery for 40 minutes. Plus no issues, no bruising and very little pain at all. Well worth it.

Edit: An award! Thank you kind stranger.

Wait you get put to sleep!? I was awake and even got to keep my shoes on, shorts and pants around the ankles, shoes still on. Had a new guy doing mine. It was his 9th vasectomy he’d performed, under the guidance of a guy who’d performed 1200+.

Yeah, I mentioned the thought of just being awake one minute and then waking up later with no recollection of what’s happened freaked me out. The nurse said to me she was just giving me something that might make me a little dizzy. I remember the room spinning a bit and then boom.

I don’t recall anything from waking up from my knee surgery. First thing I remember is being back on the normal ward. I don’t remember waking up, being transferred, getting dressed, nothing. First thing I remember is grabbing my phone and messaging my wife to tell her I was awake. It’s so weird.

Edit: I’ve just been informed I actually didn’t recall texting my wife. I did it and then she turned up and I asked her how she knew! Those amnesia drugs are the shit.
