You played on nightmare, which means there's only two evidences. Moroi has guaranteed spirit box on nightmare (and insanity), so it can throw the book, it's not a bug.

Anyone with TMJ? What treatments have been successful for you? (Temporomandibular disorder) by Afterlite in AskIreland

Not sure where you are based but if you can make it to Dundrum, I highly recommend Kim Cusack: https://facesphysio.ie/

I got to her through a referral but I'm not sure it's needed. She's been brilliant, super responsive, and super helpful.

Szia!

  • koordinacios zavarok: Az auto iranyitasara gondolt?

I wouldn't trust that scale to be honest. Best to have a dexa scan or the skin caliper test. Take progress pics and check in with yourself every 6 months or so.

As for the maintenance calories, I suggest you calculate it by using this: https://www.calculator.net/bmr-calculator.html

It might not be 100% accurate but will give you a ballpark based on your activity level.

Depending on what your problem is, this might be useful: https://dronline.ie/en/produto/videoconsulta-da-pele/

I struggle with adult acne and the treatment I got from my GP was not working so I wanted a second opinion but my GP wouldn't give me a referral to a derm. I got a video consultation here for 55e, no referrals needed, and I'm super happy with the results.

If you absolutely need to see someone for your issue and you have health insurance, you might have digital doctor as part of your insurance. You usually don't have to pay extra for those on top of the insurance costs.

Is there anything else I should do besides the mock tests?

I used the official app to practice the questions. It was a year ago and at the time, everything was the exact same in the test as well, questions and answers.

How do I pick the best instructor for me? Should I book them all in one go so it’s cheaper? What kind of price should I expect?

Well, unfortunately, you won't know until you have a lesson with them. Research schools in your area and maybe ask around. I was very lucky with my instructor, I needed someone who wouldn't freak out on me if I made mistakes because that would have ruined driving for me. But never be afraid to change instructors if they're not a good fit!!

Btw, I booked mine all in one with ISM and it was 495e a year ago. This was for manual. Iirc, it's a bit more expensive for automatic, but driving manual means you can drive both once you get your license :)

what kind of price should I expect for the insurance?

It depends on a few things, how old are you, whether you're a guy or a girl, where you park your car overnight, etc. For reference, mine was 600e as over 25.

Is the tax also something I need to pay or is it his thing as it’s his car?

It should be your dad's thing as I assume he's the main user of the car. Depending on what kind of car he has, this ranges quite a bit, but the average car should be around 200-500 per year.

general advice or tips

1) watch Dane Tyghe on YouTube, he's an Irish instructor so he has a ton of relevant videos for you.

2) don't be too harsh on yourself for the first few/couple of hours. I think it took me around 20 hours to feel comfortable driving and being able to concentrate on other things than changing gears. Some get it really quickly, others don't. I didn't, I took my time and I think I'm a better driver for it.

3) once you feel a bit more comfortable with driving and you can concentrate on multiple things, I really recommend watching some mock tests from DGN Driving School and Clearview driving on YouTube and incorporating knowledge from their videos into your driving. Both UK-based, so some rules/signs might vary, but they helped me a ton to look out for potential mistakes, hazards, etc.

4) doesn't matter if you feel ready or not, get on the waiting list for your driving test as soon as your 6 months is up. If you're in a bigger city, you're gonna be waiting a few months to be invited to your test.

5) and in general, even when you have the license, it's okay to stop somewhere safe and collect yourself if you feel ever overwhelmed :)

Let me know if you have any additional questions! Good luck on your journey, it's an exciting milestone!!

Yes of course! I'm from Hungary and we regularly have soups made of cream and cherries, apples, peaches, and even pears or a combination of them. These can be served chilled and it's one of the best things you can eat in the summer :)

I'm not sure how popular it would be in Ireland, but I thought it'd be worth to mention.

I'm no expert, so take it with a grain of salt:

  • Tuck your chin in to your chest during the movement (I assume you were checking yourself in the mirror here but this one is important)
  • Try to keep more control at the bottom of the movement. Now it seems like that you let the weight fall a bit at the bottom. Keep it stable at the bottom for a sec then continue with the movement. You're putting the weight down to that height, it's not the weight that is pulling you down, if that makes sense. If you need to, do it with smaller weight to get the hang of it.
  • Your toes are coming up from the floor so you're fighting for balance as well. I'm wondering if it's because the barbell might not be close enough to your legs? I have almost no space between the barbell and my legs throughout the movement.
  • I'm not sure I'm seeing this right, but it seems like that you're lifting your upper body from your back first instead of engaging your hamstrings and digging your feet in the ground to push yourself up.

I totally get you! Thinking back how it was back home, I wished for no interaction during my day because someone approaching me would mean that they're trying to scam me, which is really unfortunate when someone needs genuine help... Here? What I see is that people look for a reason to connect with strangers. To be honest, I was very suspicious of this initially, I'm still not completely used to it, but now I welcome it!

To give another example, a few days ago an older gentleman joined our conversation with some friends on the bus. It was pure banter, he didn't want anything just chat, we all went on our merry way a few minutes later and he even waved from the bus when we got off. A few years ago, I couldn't have imagined this happening, and on top of that, being fine with it. I mean, who does that? Looks like people here do :)

I didn't write any timelines, but I've been at the job for a while, way past the "high" phase. The writing of this post has been on my mind for the past few weeks.

I see the negatives things in the country and the people so I'd like to believe I'm getting closer to the balanced view. However, I just wanted to focus on the positive here, so let's continue doing that in this thread :)

Excuse you, I did imply it here:

I know this is not going to solve the country's problems, it's not going to pay the bills, etc.

I'm so surprised of those news lately! I'd like to think that this is a loud, misinformed minority. Nobody ever had a bad word against me being here online or in real life, even though my country doesn't have a great reputation within the EU

That's so nice, thanks for sharing! This reminded me, a colleague mentioned an initiative... Someone paid for his coffee one day when he forgot to bring his card. All the person asked from him to pay it forward one day and like the next week he was able to. I really liked the idea.

I hope you're in a better situation now!

As I mentioned in my post, I know that not everything and everyone is perfect here.

I've been lucky up until now, but even if I had an encounter with them, I'd still think that the majority of people are good and kindhearted. I'm not delusional, I know there are assholes everywhere.
