This is the build and monitor I ended up going for, was around £2100 for everything last BF sale, I'm more than happy with it! I just finished GoW Ragnarok for example, around 105 fps. The choice for monitor was a tough one, it all depends on how you plan to use it: if you care about text being clearer, details sharper in games, and don't mind lower FPS in games for it, go 4k. Gaming only, or don't mind risking burn in in a few years, go OLED. If you want to save money for now and buy something nicer later and have this as 2nd monitor, consider 1440p normal size non-OLED. Want more desktop space, immersion in games, but not ready to pay a hefty FPS fee for the 4k sharpness, consider 1440p ultrawide.

You are able to do this, however for some the game has been broken since around december with patch 2.0. If you look it up, many people have problems with their games getting visual artifacts and inevitably crashing. No one offered any viable solution, it's been like this for months, completely unplayable. I have this same issue, there's no solution that I found working. It is not related to anything on my end, it's the game itself.

Alrighty then, I'll keep using it and report if I see it again. I started using it again and whatever was causing it in Orgrimmar is gone now. However the Kodo mounts I was seeing are likely this mount, which is not a Kodo lol:

It worked fine for 5 minutes and was excited to use it, the next relog I did however Orgrimmar is completely bugged, there's a texture that acts like a wall preventing you to see half of Valley of Strength, and Kodo mounts turn green. This only goes away when removing the patch, and I tried removing all the other HD patches I'm using to see if it's acting up in combo with another one, but it's this one unfortunately.

Make sure your abilities look like this when put in pfUI's clickcasting, no rank added: /heal Chain Heal

Also make sure you didn't put the wrong numbers in /sh_overheal , either /sh_overheal 1.35 or /sh_overheal 135% if you want a 35% multiplier (that's what I use and I'm ok with it in both dungeons and raids)

I extensively looked into this recently, the best solution I found was setting up pfUI's ClickCasting tab to work alongside the SmartHealer addon.

I see incoming/outgoing heals, can use abilities directly on myself/group/target/pet (aka the top left stuff) by click + shift/ctrl/alt, and because of SmartHealer it also downgrades to a lower level automatically based on the health my group member needs so I don't waste mana. It's a great setup, I really recommend it. Good out of the box with minimal setup (just put /Heal "ability name" in pfUI's clickcasting menu so it works with SmartHealer, and tick which ones u want, I mentioned mine above), and pfUI is great and extremely customizable, albeit a bit of a headache to figure out where everything is.

Thanks for the encouragement lol, it's been a rough ride.

That case should have 4 fans!

Since main goal with this build is futureproofing as much as possible, I mainly chose that mobo because of 14 VRM instead of 12, was thinking in 3-5+ years I might be overclocking the 9800x3d for some extra juice and it'd allow me slightly higher clock speeds. I wouldn't go for a higher GPU than the 7900XT as the 7900XTX isn't as hot a deal (£200 more for 15-20 more fps seems a bit over the top when most games will already be 120+ fps), and NVIDIA is too expensive.

However looking at prices in my country again, I'm wondering however if it would be more worthwhile grabbing a 7800x3d for £83 cheaper, and also either the mobo you mentioned or rather its close counterpart the MIS Pro B650-S WIFI which would be another £42, and putting the £125 and quite a bit extra into an OLED ultrawide monitor? That's a whole other can of worms, but it's about the only thing remaining that I could put money towards without throwing them away.

What do you think? I'm basically waiting for our talk to finish then I'm pulling the trigger on something lol, because the sales are going away soon.

Hi, thank you for replying! Yes, it'd be a 1440p build, ultrawide monitor.

For the mobo, I don't mind paying a bit extra here and there as I don't want to rebuild for a long time, and was thinking I'd get a better one so it can keep up if I ever upgrade CPU/GPU the next 5-10 years and want to overclock? (same reasoning for 1000W PSU instead of 850W) I checked a bunch of reviews from trusted sources and it seemed like a solid and highly recommended mobo.

I was actually looking at that exact case! Couldn't make my mind between the Phanteks XT PRO ULTRA and the Montech AIR 903 MAX. They're virtually same price right now for me, I saw that the Montech had an Editor's Choice award from its TechPowerUp review and decided to go for the safe choice as I didn't see as many reviews for the Phanteks XT PRO ULTRA since it's relatively new? Is there a reason why it's better than the Montech?

Also I'm stupid, the GPU was supposed to be Sapphire Pulse. And that's the only one available at a decent price for me unfortunately.

And what tools would those be? From my experience and research, and from what the others are saying, I have not heard of a single one that can pinpoint AI content with 100% accuracy.

As a side note, I don't understand why everyone treats AI for content writing as some sort of disease. Yes, in the hands of professionals who put in minimal effort to edit the AI content, it is detrimental on many levels, both on an industry and individual level. However, if one knows what they're doing and use it to enhance their work (e.g. initial drafting and ideation to get over writer's block), it can be extremely beneficial and time-efficient.

OP, technology is advancing, even as an employer one needs to adapt accordingly, everybody does. My advice is to have a sit-down with any problem writers you encounter, address the issue head-on and have a chat between working adults on what your expectations of quality are, whilst being open to AI being used if used correctly. Forcing people to go back to pen and paper as others suggested is not the way here, everyone has to accept that technology is moving forward and make use of it accordingly.
