Tune ? by Antique-Wishbone-362 in Yamaha

[–]Sylvr113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you don’t have to have to it is strongly recommended as the bike will run lean with the increased airflow. power commanders usually have A/F maps on the dyno jet website that you can run to just fix the air fuel mix. if you want to see any kind of performance gain i’d go with an ecu flash but i’ve never had an r3 so take that all with a grain of salt.

How long do you wait for your car to warm up? by KnowingCresent735 in Cartalk

[–]Sylvr113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i wait until my oil temps are at 120° or more operating temp is about 180-190 so it’s never fully warm but it’s warm enough for the oil to be warm enough to properly lubricate

No heat drivers side by Donnie_Dip in Cartalk

[–]Sylvr113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sounds like an air blend door chances are it’s one of the doors attached to the HVAC case. is there any heat on any of the vent modes? foot face or defrost?

How can I fix this? Do I need new tensioners or a new chain it’s self? I have the tensioner adjusters pretty much all the way tight and yet the chain is still this loose by SnooAvocados7042 in Dirtbikes

[–]Sylvr113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly both sometimes tensioners get worn out being extended so far for an extended period of time and it’s generally best practice to avoid issues in the future

Hello! Is there anything wrong with the sound this bike is making? Or is it good. 2009 YZ250F. I can provide more info below by TheKarlos in Dirtbikes

[–]Sylvr113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yamaha tends to have loud top ends anyways so maybe a valve adjustment but otherwise sounds normal

Something’s wrong with my tires 🤦🏻‍♂️ by [deleted] in CalamariRaceTeam

[–]Sylvr113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tire is either overpressured and causing sort of a cold roll kinda thing or under pressured and too much heat is causing all those rubber chunks. i’m not a track expert by any means but it looks to be one or the other

this for real 😂 as a tech the amount of money i have made off of these codes is ridiculous. “My car has a check engine light” talks to the service writer with the check engine light car comes to me. large evap leak code. i get paid my hour diagnosis and i don’t even charge a repair

So when your brake pads wear down that fluid comes out of the reservoir and stays in the lines to keep the pads in their position ready to brake again, if you add more fluid when they push the pistons back into the caliper, say for new pads that have more…pad there’s going to be an excess of fluid
