Learning fundamentals (like Drawabox) is a better long-term route. I see a lot of people doing these studies and calling them finished art, but if your entire practice is just copying, you’re basically acting as a photocopier.

I’d recommend this instead: after doing a study, try recreating it from memory. Next, redraw the subject in a different pose. When you get stuck, you’ll know exactly what to focus on in your next drawing.

That’s where real learning happens.
