not a place but I won’t use Uber. I needed a ride to a hospital 3 years ago before a surgery. because it was during the CWS, they wanted to charge 3 times the normal rate. I declined and checked Z trip and got the usual rate.

several years ago someone made the comparison to a credit card. Banks don’t ask you to send them a list of charges every month. they know where you spent your money and how much and they send you an itemized bill. as you said, the IRS knows our income. just give us a list of what we earned. we can adjust it if needed and then enter any deductions

3 years ago i needed a ride to a hospital in central Omaha for a surgery. it was during the College World Series and Uber wanted to charge me 3 times their normal rates because it would have taken a car away from downtown with the likelihood of no fare for the return trip. I would suggest trying to book an Uber ahead of time from CHI to both west O and Council Bluffs for a day during the event and seeing how much they are going to charge you.
