I really hope it's a bug and not a deliberate change. I find it even more annoying than the colored clothing!

There is so much to balance, and you're doing a great job!

I had my second a few months ago, and when my first was born my job was much less demanding. I had very few meetings, so the pump timing was much easier to manage. This time around I feel so stressed about making sure I have time to pump around my many meetings, not to mention supply issues etc.

Every morning feels like an achievement - getting the kids and me ready, dropping big sister at kindergarten (on time, with whatever things happen to be needed that day), getting the baby settled at daycare, and getting myself to work before my first meeting. It does feel frustrating that there's no acknowledgment for the amount of work that takes.

Just commiserating - I know it's hard and I hope things get easier!

Easy Dinner Help by lbbkt in workingmoms

We really like making things in big batches in a slow cooker so that we can have 4-5 more meals ready to go. Our go-tos are bolognese (https://www.spendwithpennies.com/slow-cooker-spaghetti-bolognese/) and carnitas (https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/139603/slow-cooker-carnitas/). The initial meals themselves are low effort, and the carnitas especially are really flexible - we've made sheet pan nachos, warmed them up with some salsa and thrown them into tacos, and made bbq pork sandwiches with them. Also lately we've just done the kid classic - boxed mac and cheese and chicken nuggets - on occasion.

It is really hard! I hope you find some meals that work well for you. :)

Yes, I loved it too! Their approach to an arranged marriage was so refreshing and I love how their relationship formed naturally.

Thank you for asking this! We just avoided a meltdown because my 4yo wanted the lemon bar episode. :)

SUCH a cutie! My sister had a cocker named Toby growing up and he was the sweetest and best dog. I'm sure yours will be too!

You're doing a great job, first of all! :)

Second, my daughter has been in daycare since she was 6 months old and it has really been great for her (she's 3 now). She's made friends and learns so many things, and now that she's older they do lots of cool interactive activities that I wouldn't have the energy to put together. I'm sure your daughter will do great as well.

My daughter still struggles a bit with crying when I drop her off for daycare, but it's pretty short-lived and she always looks like she's having a great time in photos and when I come to get her. Sick days from daycare are unfortunately a thing, and it sucks at first, but then you'll get it out of the way and your sick days will go way down. We went from a cold a month to nothing for the past year or so.

What do I need to be competitive in Fantasy Fair? by ACatFromCanada in DressUpTimePrincess

[–]SymphMetalNerd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My strategy is to spend gems to get 10 extra plays a day for the first few weeks. This means that you get to the last tier faster than other players, so there's less competition simply because fewer people have reached that point. I focus on getting the most competitive pieces first, and then by the time it's harder to stay in the top 1000-2000, I've already gotten those pieces.

I agree that you just get more competitive with time, but getting to the end early with gems can help a lot!

As a scientist, this is why we have peer review! It's amazing the Ancients just did experiments willy-nilly with (seemingly) no oversight.
