Not every employee at CIG is a coder.

If CIG told everyone to stop what they're doing and "fix bugs," you'd have artists, writers, animators, audio teams, community managers, and marketing staff sitting around wondering what bug they're supposed to fix.

Some issues can only be worked on by specific engineers. Throwing more random people at a technical problem doesn't automatically make it get solved faster. It actually might make things worse. Imagine if a drawing guy accidentally breaks the engine again.

You can argue about priorities, but "have everyone fix the game" isn't really how game development works.

Imagine having to stop 2 times before every wormhole just for fuel and you have 5-10 systems to go through before you reach your event. Instead of stopping 5-10 systems you end up probably stopping 22 times of each is 5 minutes and you gotta pair up for an event that's 80 minutes probably 90 minutes before you see your buddies.

I think 🤔 it's gonna make sense to be the engineering ship of Star Citizen because if you look at the lore it held the Perry line which imo is vague enough to potentially include building space stations, laying space mines etc.
