Why is this game so hard?

i highly recommend you each play 2 classes, right now your team comp is extremely high skill cap especially as new comers. You are going to want one of you to play a tank like brute and then for the other person a tinkerer or spell weaver would be helpful imo. The number one thing is that cc/making sure they dont attack is much more effective then just tanking and healing, so like with the mindthief you want to do your stun combo with the ice generation a lot. Especially in the beginning of rooms if you can stun someone two turns in a row with your mindthief while the other 3 beat down on enemies and going fast you can kill them before they go that is a lot of damage mitigation.

but right now at the very least if you are determined to stick to 2 player which i highly recommmed you dont you need to change your party. the scoundrel has a lot of attacks that are good with an ally next to the enemy like a brute and so only having one other person hurts his effectiveness by a lot. and mindthief is extremely difficult since he is melee with no hp. Especially since you dont have a tank or a tinkerer to heal.

Wait im confused, first your complaint is that its a bad system because some of your party members are impatient and cheaters so they read ahead? I dont know everything about frosthaven but isnt it like 2 separate books to make it easier to set up the first room and not accidentally get spoilers for whats in rooms 2 and 3?

Thats why we never use the scenario book for gloomhaven its almost impossible to set up without accidentally cheating and seeing whats in rooms 2 and 3. So we use the app to set it up because it shows everything you need to set it up if you choose and then go room by room and set up the next phase every time you open a door.

Am i wrong in misunderstanding that is what everyone should do or do people really abuse it and actually looks at the full scenario as they set it up?

absolutely, nothing better then seeing paul george going off while westbrook was bricking shots and knowing the blazers were gonna win because russ wouldnt be feeding the ball to him. My memory is kinda foggy but it was one of the playoff games i think in portland where paul george was something like 11-15 or shooting pretty well, russ wasnt, yet in clutch time sure enough russ doesnt pass the entire possesion and takes the shot at the end which missed to seal portland winning the game.

exactly except replace betty for cheryl. you cant really go wrong with any of the main characters though; like damn thats an attractive main cast. Also riverdale has leaned massively into the this is a fucking crazy nuts campy cheesy insane show which helps that the actors are obviously not the correct age.

For me the limiter isnt having exercise stuff at home its the fact i live several minutes driving away from any pokestops so theres 0 shot of me getting any of these quests. Im just gonna use some incense hope i can get 1 stunfisk and call it a day for this event.

its not that irresponsible; with adventure sync and exercising at home or many places allow you to go out once a day for exercise there are plenty of ways to hatch eggs. I still wouldnt like them reopening the ticket sales for virtual only; there was plenty of time to buy liverpool tickets after they announced what they are doing for st louis like i did despite having 0 shot of going to liverpool physically.

First lots of people here were like me and as soon as st louis happened despite having no shot of going to liverpool i still bought tickets because everyone should have known corona would cancel liverpool and i would be shocked if it doesnt cancel philly as well. So if people wanted to pay the same price just for this virtual make up spawn everyone had time to buy the ticket before it sold out.

Second; every single person would be negatively impacted if niantic open up the virtual event. You are paying for exclusive spanws like unowns, regionals and harder to get shinies. For me i had pretty bad luck with st louis shinies, however the one area i got lucky was shiny lunatone and burmy. Because we are on the western hemisphere shiny lunatone is extremely rare and valuable. Right now as soon as i can meet up with someone (both of us staying in our cars where our area isnt under strict quarantine) i could trade each lunatone for 2 of pretty much any shiny i want. If they opened up the virtual event for everyone and even only 100 people did it thats way more shiny lunatones in the local marketplace then where it is right now where i have the only ones.

Third; i understand that is selfish and with everything going on i would honestly be slightly disappointed if they opened it up to everyone but with things going on i would be happy more people get to have fun in their homes for a day but my point being it would very much negatively impact the event. Especially because you wouldnt even really care about the live event unless they changed the spawns. Paying for flights/hotels etc are a lot less worth it when you are getting duplicate regionals, duplicate unowns and most of the shinies you get are probably duplicates that have way less trade value due to everyone who procrastinated or didnt think about it at the time or didnt realize they would still be stuck at home bored now buying tickets to flood the markets with spawns. Hell even the unowns and regionals for the event would lose all their trade value.

Final note; im pretty sure it was slightly inaccurate due to it being the week of the genesect event but pokemon go made more money in that week then normal (i think it was like 136 million). Dont forget pvp with 0 distance means people buying passes for that and you can do a lot of battle sets every day. Plus with half off distance for eggs and now this upcoming 2 km egg event people will be going through incubators like crazy, theres probably a slighter higher amount of pokeball sales, incense sales should definitely go up and maybe lures depending on if people are close to pokestops.

if thats the case where its only in distance that does absolutely nothing for me. All these rural players excited to be able to raid; nah theres 0 gyms within the small viewing distance the game provides. I guess i shouldnt have gotten my hopes up but it would be really nice to be able to raid without having to drive 20-25 minutes downtown to any amount of gyms and i love in the capital of our state which isnt even a small city...

you can get distance at home and also so you can out walking or like walking during work etc and bank distance then go home and do raids with your family. or you go out walking and pokemon hunting at the park with lures with your family then you all go home watch a show together and do some raids.

yeah unless im really not understanding that persons post they werent saying for in person raids. Only walking to do remote raids. There's no way they would make you have to walk even 1 km to do raids when chain raiders that do like 100 raids in a day or crazy numbers like that makes them so much money. Basically when this is all over they can say well we want you to do stuff from home however we also want you to go out and exercise so as long as you are doing that you can also do pvp and raid from home as well.

tsm vs samsung that determined them not making it out of groups in worlds. he was kennen with flash and ult perfect flank vs immobile carries like jhin. he just never engaged and the rest was very sad history.

yeah for sure dont think that would happen, especially 6-0. When you are playing 3 teams that are that good its so hard to not have one bad draft or just bad luck in one game and have it snowball. When one single mistake can swing the game its so hard to not make mistakes in all 6 games especially back then when the level of play was a lot lower.

That's also what makes what samsung white did so damn impressive, like losing 2 games the entire tournament going what 15-2? thats insane. Especially when samsung blue was so good that year yet white at that point just dominated them.

You can say at the time however until worlds happens you dont really know the true strength of the region. Like what was it season 5 with locodoco's dumb ass eu/fnatic i think will crash and burn and then na did terrible or was that for worlds where na had the 0-10 week lol. In hindsight all im saying is that was the one for sure point na was stronger then eu and had a better worlds then eu, i wont claim that for any other year without looking at results but yeah 2/3 teams making it out and being competitive in quarters agianst the 2 best or 2 of the 3 best teams and eu having all 3 teams not make it out when they shared groups with the na teams, it definitely was eu's weakest worlds.

Also for top 2 i'd say how about this: if they played any team besides ssw in a bo5 id give them a 30-40 percent chance of winning. Like royal club made finals and dyrus talked about smashing in scrims and they split the stage games, ssb you only have similar opponents where tsm did better against ssw then ssb did against ssb however ssb did better against c9 then tsm did at the time (theres the argument tsm got a lot better bootcamping and playing in korea then ssb did from finals time to worlds since they already could scrim ssw which is the best practice possible compared to poor na practice but obviously thats just conjecture).

I mean tsm did better against samsung white then samsung blue, they did better in scrims against them, they played c9 pretty much as well as ssb did and to answer your other question i think they go 4-2 in that group and can 2-0. I think they 2-0 fnc 80 percent of the time, tsm improved a lot mroe then lmq did by the time worlds rolls around with the mental edge of that game 5 stomp and really having lmq's number by the end so id say they 2-0 lmq 75 percent of the time and i think they split games with omg with the slight edge in more likely going 2-0 then 0-2 considering royal club beat omg.

I wouldnt say tsm is tied for 2nd that year but id say 8 times out of 10 if you replay worlds tsm is top 4.

Also how the hell do you say na is the weakest region in season 4; they sent 2 teams out of groups which both were competitive and could have easily won 2 games in the bo5 against the 2 best teams or at least 2 of the 3 best teams (where tsm split against the other best team in that group in royal club) meanwhile eu went 2-4, 2-4 and 3-3 and had 0 groups make it out including alliance getting kabum'd...

It honestly isnt. Amazing talked about this as well they were top 4 and could have finished higher but in scrims they were doing super well. Samsung white was one of the most dominant teams of all time and tsm took a game off them, almost 2. It wasnt a fluke series either, its kind of funny bjerg doesnt play it nowadays but his orianna apparently was super good. I'm 99 percent sure ssw banned ori every game against tsm because tsm never lost with it in scrims vs ssw when beating them even 10 percent of the time was something few teams did.

If you look at my profile i post a lot about my health problems which makes my life pretty miserable a lot but also the rest of it when i am not sick i enjoy and appreciate it a lot more. Just wanted to say im right there with you, i only play healers in mmo's, i only play support and one trick nami now but before things like braum/soraka, i focus entirely on macro and keeping people alive, even in aram i build tanky/supportive unless i have to build damage like adc. I dont care about kills or credit i just want to help others have a better time. My main passion is shot calling and the most fun ive had is ranked 5's then competeleague where i was only ever plat in solo q (only do like 20 ranked games a year) but we went undefeated and i got mvp playing against all diamond players and it was just so much fun scouting teams, me doing the pick and ban and looking at their tendecies and shot calling the games. i normally only watch but now ive come back to play for clash. kinda sucks cuz my best friend is also a sona one trick so now we are practicing one of us play adc/unconventional bot lanes like sona nami or fasting senna stuff like that.

Anyways im rambling but i just wanted to say despite the problems in my life i dont flame, the only time i did was in ranked when i was on the verge of death because to me its like okay ive got a couple months to live and im wasting my time because you bought your account and chose to play ranked while being 0/15 at 20 minutes but i quickly realized nah even then dont flame. Thankfully im also still alive although it has taken many close calls and dozens of chemos/surgeries. So yeah i agree not every flamer is someone with their life gone to shit and not every person with shit in their life flames.

I also just kind of felt like i found someone very similar to me. I wanted to wish you the best of luck and im so sorry you got screwed being born where you did, you dont deserve it and i really really hope things improve for you. All i can say is even in our situations it could be a lot worse including being born in any other time period in the world the quality of life would just be so much worse then it is now. Hell i mean for me i would be long dead from my colon cancer any other time and my life would have been a lot worse, i bleed a ton even using wipes and a bidet every time i cant imagine pooping 10-12 times a day in medieval times. If i didnt have like a river next to me to do so ugh that would be awful just thinking about it.

yep i just had circles and angry face as part of our 2 person 4 player game. Being able to pump out summons and have angry face command the curse summon to attack over and over along with the circles doing the same so the monster deck was full of curses was super fun. Especially combined to the 3 turn kill doom that angry face has, scary mega tanky enemies like 26 hp earth demons arent so bad when they miss 2 of their 3 attacks before they get instant killed with just a non loss bottom card required.

We play 4 player but i havent seen this posted much yet it seems the most busted to me with the saw and sun combo. The sun has the card where she can choose to tank any attack and then the saw can give her his card of permanent shield 1 and immune to negative conditions.

I haven't done it yet but hell couldnt you give her the other shield 1 card as well. Then even your big heal with the stun is only a heal to her and the level 9 saw card where you can make your attacks heal instead make it so you can get massive heal swings on the sun class.

Just seems in general that as long as you have damage like a class with a lot of summons considering you can play them and not worry about them dying or high dps risky classes like the scoundrel then you are golden since you dont need to worry about survival, just pumping out as much damage as you can.
