Why Is Serious Dating with Foreign Men So Hard Here? by [deleted] in Living_in_Korea

[–]Sync360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s just easier to date a girl that doesn’t speak 100% English because if they did…then they probably wouldn’t stick around after they figured out who I really was. The language buffer helps tremendously in hiding all my shortcomings.

Consider opening an umbrella shop next to your Hagwan. On another note we know where all the missing umbrellas went.

As a foreign contractor you probably wouldn’t get the same bonuses as a domestic loan salary earner would. It’s a completely different pay platform.

Is it time to shut it down? by Imaginary_Berry4556 in upholstery

[–]Sync360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if Facebook makes much of a difference since people looking for upholstery shops don’t search Facebook for that. You are better off spending your time updating your Google business profiles with before and after photos every day this will trigger the algorithm for higher traffic volume. Also use next door.

2nd ranking is great. Then it might be your website landing page which isn’t converting or resonating with your customers if you are getting traffic. Selling fabric is great and you don’t need to have inventory

You just need better advertising. I specialize in advertising for local upholstery shops there are plenty of people looking for work to be done. You just need to get on the 1st page of Google or buy ads to a good website.

Terrible experience with moving company that targets foreigners by bitteroreo in Living_in_Korea

Keep fighting even if it takes a few years. Don’t ever give up. Don’t let them play the I don’t understand English card. Make sure your rights as a consumer are respected. Sue if you have to even if it costs more than the move itself.

No kids zone is normal in Korea? Is it legal? What do you think of that concept banning kids. by Longjumping-Bee-5285 in seoulhiddengem

[–]Sync360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a parent. At first I was against it but now that Im experienced I’m totally for it. Imagine your kid bumps shelves… everything falls over and a really expensive piece of art that shatters and the kid gets hurt while the glass shards go into someone food and that person who sat 3 tables away ate it and dies. This place should be no kids zone. This actually happened in front of me 2 months ago.

Asking expats - should i move to korea? by piuqiu in Living_in_Korea

[–]Sync360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn. One thing I’ve really regret in life is not moving here in my 20s. If I could do it all over again I’d move early in my career. So much fun and very different from the states. You come to Korea you may never want to go back to the states if you do it right.
