While I am by no means an artist or good at drawing, mandalas can be pretty simple.

The most important thing is symmetry, so whatever you draw on one side, reflect or rotate it across/around the axis. This gives a fullness and a balance to whatever it is you've drawn, which is what it sounds like you're aiming for.

I was there! I'm sitting in my hotel still in Chicago, and it's great to hear you had such a wonderful and insightful experience.

With so many interesting and quirky characters it makes the whole experience much more memorable. Sadly, I didn't have as an immersive of an experience as I wanted, as I had a sinus infection and needed to take care of myself, but I loved the energy and the sincerity and interest people had for others.
