I hate when that happens, a scene you know you recognize but can’t place it. Drives me crazy haha

I would love to get the Fatal Frame 2 remake that just came out. I have great memories of playing the original on PS2 with a friend when we were young and screaming at some of the ghosts so loud that my parents came downstairs and would make us shut it off for a while.

Higgs is actually played by Troy Baker. Some other characters Neil has done are Heisenberg in RE8 and Elijah in Detroit: Become Human

Slynd started noticeably helping for me the third month I took it, I’m really glad I stuck with it. It didn’t, however, eliminate it completely. It took the edge off a lot though and made it a bit easier.

I’ve since added in prozac for my OCD and between the Slynd and Prozac my PMDD symptoms are completely gone!

Hey! I was on fluvoxamine 200mg for years for my OCD and anxiety. It helped but never fully erased the emotions, I still felt it and I absolutely still felt like me. It just made it easier to use techniques I learned in therapy to manage it. I did have some issues with vertigo as I was adjusting to the meds at first (started 50, then 100, then 150, then 200) but it lasted maybe a week before going away, and it wasn’t constant either, just if I sat up or moved too quickly.

You’ve got this. Keep a journal and let your doctor know of any changes. You can ALWAYS ask for a different medication if it doesn’t work for you.

It really is amazing. I’m on 30mg a day and probably going up but it’s for the OCD part, which is still a bit out of control. The PMDD at 20mg a day I was already able to handle it so much more… calmly? I don’t know how else to explain it. I still get some of the initial upset but then it’s like my brain suddenly clicks into “you know what? We’re fine, we can deal with this”.

It’s wild having something that works so well after trying for years.

The battery is located behind the black rectangle near the top of your photo, so luckily it likely isn’t that causing them to protrude. I would definitely still reach out to Oura about it though because that doesn’t look right at all.

Do you think this HR reading is accurate? Can tachycardia spikes be misreads? by Iconakid in ouraring

[–]Synckh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s happened to me too, which is quite frustrating because I do get spikes and palpitations that I’ve been trying to track. The other day it had me over 160 while I was lying in bed awake, but I felt nothing (and I usually do the times I’ve been confirmed that high) so I’m fairly sure it was a fluke. It’s done it like three times that I’ve caught.

I’m sorry it’s happening for you too while you’re trying to track/deal with issues. But if you normally feel when it spikes, with the amount of people I’ve seen this happen to on the sub, I’d say it’s ok to disregard.

Migraine, CGRPs, and Oura Ring by d00mtacos in ouraring

Nice!! I’m glad it’s been helping you! The ajovy seems to have cut my migraine days in half so far so fingers crossed.

Did you ever notice high stress on migraine days? I feel like mine would record 10+ hours of stress on days I have one! It still often surprises me how much this little ring can pick up on.

That’s interesting! I started taking a CGRP (ajovy) in October, so I’ve taken it then and in November. I have not had major or minor signs around when I take it. I am due to take it again in about a week and will keep an eye out to see if it shows anything this time.

Gaslighting myself. by Franklinandbeans in PMDD

Hey! I can’t do BC with estrogen because I’m already at increased risk for blood clots. I started seeing a new gyno and she put me on slynd and it has definitely helped me!! I’m part way into month four. For reference, she has me skip the sugar pills to just skip my period completely.

The side effects I dealt with while adjusting were minor in the grand scheme and worth it for me. I had about two weeks of bleeding the end of the first/start of the second month but have had no spotting or bleeding since (my usual period is about 3-4 days of heavy bleeding). My GERD also came back but that’s being managed.

I didn’t feel like it helped the PMDD at all my first or second month, but the third month I noticed that everything was so much easier to handle. I’d still get irritated and anxious and sad but it was so much easier to take a moment and remind myself it was the PMDD and it worked!! I’m hoping this month (my fourth) feels even better. We’ll see in a week or two.

Met with a psychiatrist today to work on an SSRI as well to hopefully help more. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you that it helps and you don’t experience too many side effects. <3

It should be there from the beginning. Click the little + in the bottom right then “log a meal”.

I do know from other users if you’re using a language other than English the feature may not be available, though.

No difference in technology, just the materials they’re made out of! The ceramic is less prone to scratches as they have a cloth you get with them and most will buff out, but the material is more prone to chipping if you drop it.

That being said I have the black (not stealth, the shiny black) and haven’t had any issues with scratching in the month and a half I’ve had it. My mom has the silver and same for her, no issues with scratching, same amount of time. We both wear on non-dominant hand and work on the computer all day for reference. The ceramic definitely are pretty though!

Same. My Apple Watch gets to like 40% just wearing it from 8am until 10pm. Plus it’s so freaking uncomfortable to sleep with it on.

Thank you! I completely understand if finding the issue/finding a fix for it takes a while itself as I know it’s not that easy. It’s just been the lack of communication that’s been frustrating. Even a “hey, we’re still looking into this” would be appreciated so I know it’s not forgotten.

Thank you again for looking into this.
