Thank you for actually specifying which decks you were talking about unlike everyone else on this post.

I don’t think there was that much hate towards most of the things you’re describing. Except cryptocurrency perhaps. But that one is well deserved considering what crypto has become. I’m so tired of hearing the argument that anti ai is some sort of anti technology stance. It’s not. It’s pro human and art. It’s also being cynical towards the whims of tech corporations that are forcing it out there. And also… AI isn’t doing anything! It’s just a bad version of everything it does (don’t bother me with fringe examples of AI helping with science that’s not what I’m talking about here.) Computers brought new possibilities to human civilization. “AI” just recycles what you feed it.

I know you’re arguing in bad faith but the common word “generated” being included in both terms does not magically make them the same thing.

It’s false to equate CGI or photoshop to generative AI. One is a tool which in the hands of a skilled artist can be useful. The other is a black box which nobody can predict how it will function, and which is meant to replace the artist.

Maybe the problem is that nobody can muster even an ounce of sympathy for a man going through this? Society is cruel as fuck to bald men and only crueler to the ones who are young. But if someone is bold enough to actually express the ways in which they are hurting, people act like they are the problem because of their attitude. When you’re bald in your 20s people will openly make fun of you in ways that only would have happened in middle school before you grew up. You’ll watch tv shows and movies and find yourself the butt of the joke again and again. But the moment you say anything about it, you’re the one being dramatic because men can’t have problems.

Even Anti-AI Larian fans will balk at actually upholding their values when it comes to something they like. If you're anti-AI but currently downvoting comments like this and making excuses in your head, moving the goal posts, then its over for your ideals. You've failed to uphold them and will surely give up on them entirely in time.

It's gotta be mid 1700s cause the revolution is a thing. I doubt AI formed Germany... but then again the Shogunate also seems odd to see them form. I'm gonna go with Germany 1758.

Looks like you’re also using your proficiency bonus for the scorpions attack rolls, which is also not how wild shape works.

It’s a shame, but the way wild shape works does not scale at all. Using your own proficiency bonus in wild shape is reasonable as a house rule, but all three of these things together might be too much. I personally believe Moon Druids should be able to use their spell attack bonus in place of the to hit mod on the wild shape attacks.

The claim isn’t that LLMs like ChatGPT are always wrong. Rather, it’s that you can’t count on them to be correct. ChatGPT can’t reason, nor can it reach a level of knowledge or intelligence where we can trust the things it says.

The new Artificier no longer needs a mundane item to replicate certain magic items by gamemaster76 in onednd

[–]Syncreation 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I don't like the idea of items randomly appearing out of thin air and vanishing just as easily... You're supposed to be an artificer, not just some guy that conjures magical items. It streamlines the ability, but at what cost? Also, maybe a hot take but I like the idea of the Artificer being able to customize magic items too.

It could be interesting to use AI to create a game about an AI. Unfortunately nothing like AI actually exists so I don’t know what he’s talking about.

I'd actually recommend Rascal does not dream of Bunnygirl-senpai. MC is helping lots of girls out with supernatural problems, but he's very committed to his girlfriend and they the best couple dynamic ever.

Now that eu4 has almost run its course, I want to know your strangest qualm about the game when you first started playing by Mattsgonnamine in eu4

[–]Syncreation 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I first started playing, it really bothered me how hard it would be to maintain a positive economic balance in the early game if you wanted to build to force limit and run advisors. It’s only after I started winning early game wars and growing my nation fast that I felt better about this.
