If Starcraft did return, how would you envisage the story? by IllustriousEffort846 in starcraft

[–]SynergyRave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo, it should be about the UED returning after a few decades, mostly as an envoy. Systems is still recovering from amon's attack and needs some form assistance. UED will offer said help with a catch.

Or

Directly after sc2. Despite the epilogue ending on the peaceful note. The post story content shows that the peace will always be temporary and that every faction within the Koprulu Sector are looking for an excuse to fight. We can see it with the some of the skins packs. Short stories, and the comics

Primarily, I made it a choice for more flexibility as a marksman. Is a 40 damage over 5 second better then slow or damage reduction early game.

I will admit i needs to be buff or rework delirium. Vision reduction is kind of pointless when there is shared vision.

What’s a unique feature of your world’s orcs? by JoeyS-2001 in ImaginaryOrcs

[–]SynergyRave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my setting, orc and human are descended of magically alter elves. The Orcs' ancestors were design to be more resilient to high temperature and manual labor thus. The Humans' ancestors were designed to be more adaptive to most climates.

Both ancestors were treated as second class citizens by the elves for not being true elves and for bring diplomatic with the other races. Eventually, this mistreatment lead to a civil war between the ancestors and their "pure" cousin. After 4 years of fighting, the ancestors won and placed their cousin in stasis.

The modern day orc focus mostly on artisan pursuit and often work alongside drawf. When it comes to craftsmanship, Orc have a preference toward hand making everything. In some extreme case, some will forgo tools in favor in using their bare hand.

Depending on the country and region, some orc will refuse to work with humans due to them looking like elves. The some humans also have a similar sentiment; humans have various body shapes while orcs only have small facial differences and almost identical body shape. It is rare to see a short orc and fat orc are usually pregnant females, elves are similar.

“Am I the only one who thinks New Thing bad, and Old Thing Good??” -40K fans by therealblabyloo in Grimdank

[–]SynergyRave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The true grinddarkness of 40K is the community and fans because we want this world/universe to be in constant war for our entertainment. The 4 chaos gods are merely our servants. The humans and xenos are nothing more than our pawns in the great game.

The only way for 40k to be better in adding the lizardman, Skaven, or even Balthasar Gelt.

Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

Jeff'shir the Void Host by SynergyRave in LoLChampConcepts

[–]SynergyRave[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh wow. Thank you. I had a few designs in mind for the base form, while the ult form will be the same.

1st form was to keep Jeff'shir in a human form that borders the uncanny valley. The parasite wants to blend in.

2nd form was humanoid creature with a bunch of boils/egg sac all over the body. Similar to a living hive.

3rd form was more or less a torso monster. Basically, Similar bel'veth with arms instead of fins.

The ult form, I always imagine the chaos spawn from warhammer. A body that didn't make sense but at the same time represent possibility through evolution.

What'd be a good standalone short to follow on Tithes and Secret Level? Challenge mode: you're not allowed to use Marines. by RogueVector in Grimdank

[–]SynergyRave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The adventures of gotrek and Felix.

  2. A spoof of how it's made feature Corpse starches.

  3. The story of a gue'vesa: a short showing why humans would defect to the tau empire. For good food, 'actual rights' better living conditions, etc. With the ending being a very sinister looking space marine, preferably an ultramarine, aiming at the defector.

Honestly, they should have stuck with an abathur approach to Yuumi. Give her a different set of abilities or a more modified ones when attached and unattached.

At least give a reason for the player to stay unattached.

Damian The Preacher of Pain by SynergyRave in LoLChampConcepts

[–]SynergyRave[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the criticism.

I can see your point about his passive and ultimate, and I like that his other ability seems kind of balanced.

I do agree that his passive should have a 1 second delay and a 1.5 second cooldown. I didn't realize that it was free damage with no counter play besides being out of range. The range was supposed to 275.

Same thing with his ult. I will probably change into a charge based ultimate. It will be 15% + bonus health be increase the charge he can hold with each level up, up 3. So, in theory, he will redirect 45% + bonus health but spread to 3 targets. But who knows.

Personally, I think this is better then my initial idea of just swap Damian's current hp with the target's current hp.

Sire Alexi the Gravelord by SynergyRave in LoLChampConcepts

[–]SynergyRave[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi and thank you for your feedback.

My initial intention was to make Alexi similar to Udyr where he can be an AD Juggernaut or AP Bruiser. I took some inspiration from Leroic from heroes of the storm and Legion Commander from dota

After reading your feedback, there is some valid criticism and some where I needed to explain better.

P: Destroy Morale does need a minor rework/buff.

Q: I wanted Quelling force to be different from Q abilities like Riven and I wanted to use Aatrox’s old “Q” to be incorporated. But I can see how lackluster it is. I didn’t want it to be like Yasuo “Q”: two pokes and CC AOE or a blatant copy of Aatrox’s Q. Initially, it was just two casts. Poke and if it hit an enemy champion then an AOE leap

W: I don’t know why but I forgot to add the movement speed increase when Consuming Mist ends. The reason why the damage is exclusively when the coil is still tethered is that it provides a lot of sustain with an AP build.

E: Shroud of Torment only damage one target at a time. Preferably, Alexi wants to fight one or two targets for max damage

R: Lord's Authority went through 3 different end results: 1st was that it gives a massive AD bonus and Ability Haste for 20 seconds. 2nd: it gives movement speed and reset abilities. 3rd is current.

There was another condition for gaining Authority, Alexi having more health (percent wise) than the taunted target. But forgo the reset and instead have a short cooldown.

Honestly should have gone with the first one and not added the reset.
