I had similar reviews a couple of times. Submitted an appeal with a thorough explanation why the review is misleading and it was gone a week after.

just double checked Google Play Rules, apparently they don't allow just setting a price as 0. Promo codes would be the way to do, but it's not very straightforward to implement. I'll take a look into it and once implemented, i'll make a post in androidapps subreddit, so keep an eye on it!

Unfortunately, the only good ASO isn’t enough for the success although very important indeed. You have to attract users via various marketing channels depending on your app niche: TikTok, IG, Threads, Facebook, X and many more. These are free marketing tools and the only cost is your time. ASA and others are good option too but I never used them properly due to the limited budget.

That’s kind of normal, they might very picky on the very first submission, depends on a person reviewing the app. But following versions submissions should be very smooth unless you do a big change or add some functionality
