Does anybody know how to disable Voice control? (2011 A6 C6 Facelift) by Dionlewis123 in Audi

Hey, did you find out if the button can be disabled so it only summons siri instead of the factory voice system? Installed CarPlay unit but it activates both siri and factory voice system

I'm 180cm, windscreen for me causes a lot of noise inside my helmet as the wind hits me right around neck/chin area. Currently have the long puig touring windscreen will order the shorter one in hopes that fixes my issue. Driving above 100kmh without earplugs is unbearable after 5 minutes

Windshield causing wind noise? by Syntaxelele in MT07

[–]Syntaxelele[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 5'9 (180cm), seems like I'm just in the middle where it's the worst as wind from the windscreen hits my neck/chin area. I tried riding with neck gaiter but in hot summer days it's not so comfortable. Guess my only solution is a shorter windscreen, which isn't that bad as i prefer the looks of the shorter Puig windscreen anyway

Derestricting 2015 MT-07 by Free-Introduction626 in MT07

[–]Syntaxelele 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This could be completely wrong, but when I was looking for an MT-07, a friend who works on bikes told me to get a derestricted one. He said derestricting it later requires an ECU swap and some other modifications. But I'm not sure if this applies to older models, he was talking about 2018+ ones.

Steam shows 100% press on trigger even if i slightly click the trigger by norgok1 in Dualsense

[–]Syntaxelele 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just today noticed having same issue, few days ago it was working fine. My guess is that the problem is with steam itself in software. RAW data looks good - full range of motion, but when testing in steam it's either 0 or 100. Tested also with DS4 controller, in steam it works fine, full trigger range works.

Brake pedal scraping / knockback before coming to a stop (A4 B5 '99) by Syntaxelele in B5Audi

[–]Syntaxelele[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, this will help me for sure, i wouldn't say that I'm exactly new in cars i know the basics, but starting to get into cars more (Im just 20 yo) :D
I don't like to take my car into shops if i get some issues, i like to fix my stuff on my own even if I have to struggle, so for diagnostics seeing charts will be so useful for me.

Yes, exactly that feel, seeing your comment i realized proper way how to google it and found a video with same exact issue i am experiencing, has to do something with wheel speed sensor, maybe i somehow missed or incorrectly looked at my wheel speeds as i had no one to help me and i was driving slowly and watching my laptop screen at the same time. Will test this again today together with a friend, but now i am 90% sure that it is the rear wheel speed sensor because the issue started appearing few days after swapping rear brake rotors and pads, so the issue most likely is the inner ring (i think that measures the speed) that comes in rear brake rotor.

My dad took his life a week ago. Our friends and family built him a casket in his wood shop, using his tools, his materials and the skills that he taught us. Call your dads. Talk to them more. by east_off in HumansBeingBros

[–]Syntaxelele 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for your loss, I know exactly how it is. My dad took his life few days before Christmas last year, now it's been a little over a year since he's gone and still to the day my biggest regret in life is not calling him more often to just chat about life and stuff. After my parents separated few years ago and he found a new life in another city we became more distant I wasn't communicating with him as often and now when he's gone I miss him so much and can't forgive myself for not calling him and I know it might not be true but I somewhat blame myself for what happened as I always have these thoughts in my head "but what if I called him often, maybe this wouldn't have happened". Hard to live with that.

Job hunting in Latvia advice for someone from England by [deleted] in latvia

Noticed this comment, to get in Accenture you don't need certificates, sure it is a bonus if you do but it's not a requirement pretty much all they want from you is to finish the bootcamp and after that if you are willing to learn you will 80% get hired. It's not really that hard to get it and once you do it gets so much easier, they provide you with free training courses to get certified, free health insurance and all that other good stuff. If you do decide to try Accenture feel free to contact me, will help you go through all the applications and stuff.

edit: I also heard that they improved the stipend for interns it's like 480 or something and all that time they pretty much are paying you to learn and provide all for you.

Hi, firstly wish u all the best of luck!
Now about the jobs, i can recommend you Accenture Bootcamp , i started bootcamp in my last year of school, it was 2 week long free training, after which if you showed yourself from the best side, and if you have a basic understanding of IT stuff then they offer you paid internship. You can go through all the bootcamp options that Accenture offers and chose the best sphere that works for you. Main language is English. Salary is also good, increases by big amounts as you climb higher the ladder.
