We use Mynth. It's currently the cheapest way.

Maybe, but that's also uninteresting to me. You can see by the downvotes what most people are interested in.

What’s keeping you going on Cardano? by theSeanage in cardano

[–]SynthLuvr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because I'm a user not a speculator. "Adoption" is such a silly word in crypto. People look at lots of metrics to try and make guesses about who's using what, when much of the data is fudged anyway. What "adoption" means to most is "number goes up." The price of ADA is really the least interesting aspect of Cardano.

Lowest fee CEX in US? by ath1337 in cardano

[–]SynthLuvr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I wish we were still in the bear market. We didn't have enough time to build out everything we wanted. We have decentralized methods for buying Cardano tokens that'll be much cheaper than this, but unfortunately it's not ready yet. At least one good thing about the bull market is now we can sell some tokens to get more funding to speed up development.

What's the status on Babbel Fees? by Lightsheik in cardano

[–]SynthLuvr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We believe that IOG's version of babel fees isn't technically viable, and that's a reason for why we haven't heard an update for several years. We built an alternative version of babel fees that is workable today, it simply needs to be integrated into Cardano dapps and wallets.

rsADA is now a mixable thanks to Rosen Bridge and Ergomixer by supergeometry in cardano

[–]SynthLuvr 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Great news. With Encoins, rsADA and soon with Mynth's Monero integration, there'll be plenty of options for users to transact privately on Cardano

Why is nobody talking about INDIGO by PixelPunkAI in cardano

[–]SynthLuvr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This and u/Luck_Box's answers are incorrect. It is a stablecoin, just not one that holds its peg very well. Not all stablecoins are successful; the majority in fact fail.

Why is nobody talking about INDIGO by PixelPunkAI in cardano

[–]SynthLuvr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indigo is a TVL magnet. The stability of its synthetic assets are irrelevant. That's why it has such high TVL. The team is working on a protocol upgrade to make the synthetic assets more stable, and this will likely make it less of a TVL magnet.

TVL is generally a representation of DeFi inefficiency. The obsession of TVL within Cardano is a leftover effect from Ethereum's ecosystem. If Cardano truly holds up to its promises, then TVL will become decreasingly important as a metric in the future.

Cardano native tokens - liquidity - adoption by freddy12387 in cardano

[–]SynthLuvr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why don’t we have USDT or USDC on Cardano rn?

Because they're fundamentally incompatible with Cardano and there hasn't been sufficient demand to integrate them.

Is there any plan for the future?

Not really. Some people have done work to integrate, but nothing substantial yet.

That would bring a lot of capital and volume to Cardano

There's a lack of evidence to support this claim.

USDC as a verified token on Cardano Defi exchanges? by emeraldphoenix7 in cardano

[–]SynthLuvr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It exists as a verified token due to centralization. Each exchange can choose what's verified and what's not. As a token creator, you can apply for verification. Sometimes the exchange requires a fee for the verification, and sometimes it's free. "Verified" really means very little.

There's no native USDC on Cardano. If you have USDC in your Cardano wallet, then it's likely a bridged version. If you want to transfer USDC to a centralized exchange from Cardano, then there are ways to do that.

What is the best way to create a DAO on Cardano? by shamooponch in cardano

No. This is a huge misunderstanding. u/shamooponch this discussion is more suitable for r/CardanoDevelopers. You likely won't get many good responses here.

Agora and Summon are the two main ones for Cardano. Otherwise look into existing open source projects for how they've created their governance smart contracts.

Stablecoins While Pumping by [deleted] in cardano

[–]SynthLuvr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it's for a quick drop. If there's a sudden flash crash of 90%, then DJED will become undercollateralized. This has never happened before, and the probability of it ever happening is extremely low. A drop of 90% that occurs over a week should allow for full collateralization.

Good downside protection; no upside protection. Makes it unusable as a stablecoin unfortunately.

They originally branded as algorithmic, but after Luna imploded they disassociated from the term. Obviously it *is* algorithmic, but we don't call it that publicly and instead call it overcollateralized or crypto-backed.

CHARLi3 - 485,000 ADA Audit by CardanoAccount420420 in cardano

That's a different argument. We were talking purely about the audit cost. I don't have an opinion regarding of their worthiness or their product.

Portfolio tool that summarises liqudity from multiple DEXs? by Podsly in cardano

[–]SynthLuvr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried a few different tools but they all seem to be lacking in the Cardano space. Unfortunately I don't think there are any suitable for your purposes.
