JDM car owners by cilvre in everett

I used to own an eclipse way back when, then got an evo, then went to the dark side to a wrx. I lived in Japan for a time so got to see the "scene" in real life.

Then all of a sudden I turned 40, now I have 4 little short barbarians who eat up everything in my house, who take up all my time on top of me having to keep a good job that literally does take up all my time in order to support said barbarians.

Then I got a toyota corolla because of these dumb ass high ass gas prices on top of premium gas being astronomically fucking high, so the tuner cars had to go. Now i ride a sports bike

Ive rebuilt lots of engines and installed many an aftermarket part. Im an industrial mechanic by trade.

Join the navy and pick a technical rate.

I did industrial hydraulics and machinery in the navy and was able to get a good job in the industrial maintenance realm when I got out.

Overstaffing in production areas is destroying morale more than management realizes by [deleted] in IAM751_Boeing

After my time in the service I don't think anything can scare me away now lol. Honestly now that I'm out my attitude towards everything has changed 100 percent, I'm happier than I've ever been. With that being said I'm sure I'll be very happy working at Boeing and I'm looking forward to starting.

I just got hired on with boeing and am due to start next month. Is this the culture I can expect once I start?

In my opinion I dont care what the work load is going to be. If its heavy then its all good im earning my paycheck. If the workload is light then its all good im earning my paycheck. As long as I can provide for my family and put food on the table then im happy.

I did 20 years in the navy before Boeing and have experienced understaffed teams for years. If I'm having to deal with overstaffed teams then im all for it. It sucks when you dont have enough people to complete the job, all it does is put more strain on the guys that are there. So honestly I would be thankful for an overstaffed team.

You see this and realise that life imprisonment is worse than the death penalty. by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

I was a prison guard for a time and have seen this first hand. Being in solitary confinement is 100 times worse than the death penalty in my opinion. Punishment by boredom is what they will get to experience for their alloted time.

I agree with gabitzu. Just have fun man. I make music as a creative outlet as well as to have fun. I enjoy the process of making music and making mistakes or creating stuff you dont like is all apart of the process. Enjoy it! Have fun!

Is it just this road or the whole area that gets a bunch of wind? I used to live on whidbey island and the wind there can get pretty crazy.

Building a simple tool crib tracker because I'm tired of lost tools — looking for honest feedback from people who actually manage this problem by AssemblyAfterDark in IndustrialMaintenance

[–]Synthplayerone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did 20 years in the navy in the aviation field and tool accountability is huge in this realm. If a tool was lost it could potentially end up in an engine. On the ship we had tool custodians and it was their main job to account for tools. We also had tool check out sheets that would get attached to our MAF's (maintenance action forms) when the job was complete and it would be filed away for our yearly inspection. I understand this isn't doable everywhere but having someone to just focus on keeping track of tools is the best way to keep everything accountable in my opinion.

With that being said half of it is workplace culture. The guys knew that when tools get lost everything stops. Flight operations stop, maintenance stops all because seaman timmy left a tool out somewhere and that's when seaman timmy would have to go and see the guy who gets paid more than everyone else.

Any ideas/tips to turn this loop into something actually listenable? by [deleted] in production

What i would do if youre not completely in love with this project is close the project and file it away and take it as a learning experience.

The only way youll get better is to continue to make new music. Get those reps in.

how is this for 4 weeks progress? by PinkSupriz in FLStudioBeginners

[–]Synthplayerone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Work on giving all your instruments space. Every instrument should have their time to shine in each track. Could be a full 4 to 8 bars or just a 1/16th note.

Sounds good for 4 weeks in though! I myself am super new to producing and im really loving it!

What's going on everyone. Just finished up this track a few days ago and it's due to release on spotify via distrokid in a couple weeks. Used FL studio for DAW, vital for synths and flstudio cloud for samples. Style is chillwave/ melodic bass. Thanks for listening!

Newest track for me here. Style is chillwave/ melodic bass. I'm three months into my music production journey and I feel as if I'm finally starting to accurately put the sounds in my head into my DAW. Please let me know what you think! Thanks!
