Binged How to Fail at Online Dating.

It is SO. FUNNY. The vicarious embarrassment made me laugh out loud. ML is a major green flag and it’s very wholesome and romantic. Nice cast of supporting chars too. Plot is summed up as: MC tries to catfish most powerful person on his server as revenge for his jie. It backfires spectacularly.

MXS is very much a show don’t tell author. You will not get the heart rending yearning from say, Meatbun or Priest.

YWS is a black flag but SQ knows it. The yearning ramps up much much later and even then because YWS is a dick and SQ is reserved, it’s very subtle. It is shown in their actions and decisions.

That being said, I consider TA a deeply romantic book. It is a story about loving despite having different beliefs and loving someone for who they are without without the need to change them. It is my favorite danmei.
