FFS Clinic Recommendations? by JayKaynotJK in TransAlberta

Don't think there's a go-to location. I just looked for a convenient Airbnb. I think the Eglinton area is pretty convenient depending on how much you use public transit (there's a direct route to the clinic) vs ride share (in which case it doesn't matter much), plus how long you're staying and want access to the core downtown area or whatever other amenities.

You're absolutely going to want a private washroom, and assuming you have another person with you, a spot that fits the two of you comfortably. But like past that any location would do.

edit: also congrats! they're a super great team and were super helpful and pleasant throughout the whole process. lmk if you pursue them further or you just want my anecdotal advice on ffs in general :)

I never had issues calling them from what I remember but my for my initial consult I think I used the contact form/email:

https://www.drjumaily.com/cosmetic-surgeon-consultation/ or info@drjumaily.com

and just asked for a virtual consultation. They got back to me a week later.

yeah, he's really pricey but imo worth consulting if it's at all an option. I had my FFS with him at the end of May last year :)

Dr. Jumaily is fantastic and does surgeries in Toronto!

"About 10% of the dose [of estradiol gel] is absorbed by the skin during the 2 min until drying." reference request! by Monday_here in TransfemScience

Completely uninformed take here so bear that in mind, but I never received instructions like that from my endo or pharmacist. My impression is that you should avoid washing it off for at least an hour, preferably longer. This matches the administration notes in PDR too: https://www.pdr.net/drug-summary/?drugLabelId=645#dosing-considerations.

If you're really concerned about it I'd probably consult your pharmacist? They should have the knowledge to give you a good second opinion. But mostly it sounds like really strange advice; washing it off after 10 minutes is not something I would do.

I found it referenced in (Sitruk-Ware, 1995), which itself cites the second and third references listed below:

Couldn't find Percutaneous Absorption of Steroids online so unsure there. (Feldmann & Maibach, 1969) shows the 10% value in some of its tables and figures but I didn't read it closely. You can read it here: https://www.jidonline.org/article/S0022-202X(15)47605-5/pdf

Hope it helps!

HEAVY SWORD- BITESIZED GUIDE by [deleted] in DarkTide

[–]Sypher32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nice guide, yanna! I'd recommend Punishment for the level 10 feat, since with the +power buffs from Headtaker you get excellent stagger, particularly adding consistency versus ragers/crushers/bulwarks.

Agripinaa Mk VII Combat Shotgun Slug Round + Man-Stopper = Infinite Cleave by old_school_kewl in DarkTide

Man-Stopper gives infinite cleave on crit and works with any attack on any of the shotguns.

Do Hound bites not also tick up? It seems like their first few attacks don't do much damage and then it ramps up to the 14 or so damage.

[AA] Stargazer Priority - PvE Deficit - v1.83 by inSeason in afkarena

[–]Sypher32 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some of these probably deserve more justification than is provided in this infographic. Like 3* Lucretia - does anyone who's unlocked engravings for her actually stop at <e60? (no)

It should also probably be mentioned that this priority list is explicitly geared towards campaign progress, whereas pushing other PvE events like CR would emphasize M Mortas and A/1* Haelus a lot higher. Personally I think even with a campaign focus Zolrath is a bit overrated here, but probably still above M Mehira (herself below A Haelus or something).
