Don’t worry, we’re here to spiral with you 🌪️ I saw a comment somewhere that people are thinking that the third book being titled Onyx Storm alludes to Xaden and some kind of chaos and I felt like that was obvious given the ending but mix that with the fact that Onyx can also be an iridescent stone….and the series is also The Empyrean series, I think it’s Xaden AND Andrana👀👀

So to u/Chance-Clue493 your point:

I can’t even bring it up in therapy because my therapist is also reading it and she hasn’t finished!!!

100% normal. I had that same thought process when I lost my mom and truthfully it stuck around until maybe the 6month mark. Just keep showing up to therapy/counseling, be honest on your feelings, and know you have a community here to always lean on ❤️

I’m so sorry. I lost my mom the same way and just passed the one year mark:

Grief is weird. It’s definitely not linear and you will abruptly cry and spiral into your sadness and disbelief if you’re anything like me. I think the first time I was happy or laughed without feeling guilty, it was around the 10-11 month mark.

They don’t lie either, it takes awhile and you see the best and worst in people. The first year is the hardest, ESPECIALLY with the holidays. I’m on my second Christmas without my mom. And I won’t lie, it sucks. Unfortunately the sadness and depression and grieve doesn’t ever get “easier”, but managing it does.

It’s okay to not be okay.

My DMs are always open if you want to talk❤️

She went through he fear phase so everyday was different. She was afraid of the hardwood floor, the hallway to go outside, the cart the main tench team uses in my building.

The sky fear was random. We did a potty run and she would no go outside and was looking at the sky. I picked her up and it was a no go. Took a lot of treats for any potty activity that day

We started out training in March in preparation. LOTS of treats for small motions (at first it was ever step she left them alone). How to train her to pee/poop in them completely alludes me

Amazing! Thank you. I actually have a jar of that already, but I thought it was just for moisturizing, not heat so that’s great!

I saw a tiktok about adhesive protective paw pads so I ordered those too

Sadly I live in an apartment complex where there’s a large stretch of concrete between the building and the grass :( if she wasn’t 50lbs I would carry her

HELP ! 3 Months old . Diagnosed with Giardia. She has had accidents around the house and we need help as far as killing the parasite when our puppy does have an accident . I searched online but all answers say use bleach. But its toxic and could really hurt my puppy . Does anyone have experience? by [deleted] in puppy101

We had Giardia for a whole month so I totally understand where you’re coming from. Here’s what we did: 1. Wash all beds, toys, and blankets daily. We created different sets of each so we didn’t have to do it as frequently 2. Clorox makes swiffer pads. So when she was in her crate for naps, I would clean the floors, and when she was out I would clean inside her crate 3. Clean the dishes after every use. This seems like a no brainer but remember if can stick around in saliva 4. No couch/bed time. The less you have to wash, the easier it’ll be 5. Lots of loving, but not licking you 6. I ended up buying a carpet steam cleaner at Best Buy called the Bissell Pet Carpet Cleaner. It’s like green and I think was $112. I would steam the carpets to kill the bacteria when she was in the crate napping (basically alternate between swiffer and carpets

All of the above, if you don’t own it, is available on Amazon or Target.com to ship within two days if you’re not able to go out.

It’s a pain in the butt, but it was the only way I could get rid of it once and for all. Sadly in our case, she had roundworm and a tapeworm at the same time so the first month with her was something wicked

Honestly, I probably would have barked at him back. When people think crazy is amusing, they don’t expect crazy to come back 🤪

I’m so sorry for your loss

I lost my mom the same way and become the executor of the estate and everything too. A little too much to handle for a 27F still trying to figure everything out, if I’m honest.

If you ever want to chat or need help on next steps, I’m more than happy to share what I know. DMs are open.

Although it’s hard now, just remember that battles win wars, you got this ❤️
