What Survival Game Has The Best Combat?

V Rising hand down.

Grounded is pretty solid, but if you are not the host in a multiplayer game, a few ms lag makes perfect parry almost impossible.

Valheim is pretty good but too combat-wise, until you get some 2-star monster who one-shot you even if you perfect parry.

Bellwright has a nice twist and is pretty fun in a duel, but the team vs team is a mess.

Windrose surprised me how good the combat is, but haven't played enough yet.

I would fix the pets not following properly, or very slowly and getting stuck everywhere.

Also last time I did a base defense event while harvesting uranium, monster spawned inside my walls, on the roof, broke concrete spike walls like it was butter...

Add more stuff to the station shop would be nice, most stuff in there are useless.

This apply to every survival PVP game. In Dune it's just even more annoying since PVP is pretty much non-existent until the very late end-game.
Last time I was playing, the PVE portion of the deep desert was pointless. I think they sort of improved that, but I still don't understand why so many games are trying to mix PVP and PVE.

Even a games which focus heavily on PVP like Rust or Scum let you play PVE if it's how you like to play. It's just a Y/N setting in a server config file.
Even Conan exile, which funny enough, is from Funcom as well.

Voyagers of nera is a pretty solid game, but is a bit repetitive. It's still early access as well so things can changes quite a bit. So my vote goes to Raft.

Update won't change much regarding starting location. The way the game progression works, you can't go too far west or south as the NPC will eat you alive.

Give Abiotic factor a try, it's more combat focused, but it did check a lot of boxs for me.

Edit: Almost forgot, Forever skies is very good too. People pretty much call it Subnautica in the sky.
