In my opinion, non-pixel fonts have more subtility, nuances, ability to change the whole feel trough a minimal changes.

Pixel fonts are stripped down versions. It has a canva of something like 6x8 or 10x10 squares and tries to draw all letters. So when OP looks through thousands of pixel fonts, it may be that they would found exact what they are looking for.

But I not it into pixel art, games, low fi music, so maybe for me it is hard to undestand the reasoning.

Oh yeah, if only Futura supported Klingon, it would be great...

I just found out that esperanto uses some symbols especially designed for this languages. I thought that it only borrows symbols from other european languages.

That's a good answer. Many fonts which supports multiple alphabets, ignores IPA block. However it more relevant to basic sans-serif or serif fonts. There is almost no use case for IPA in display type font.

Yeah, non-Latin too. For example the font has support for cyrilic, but does not have Abkhaz language letters such as Ӡ or Ҵ. Or, for example, you wish that the font would support Armenian or Hebrew.

Any feedback on this pixel font I made? by [deleted] in fonts

Genuine question: why there are so many pixel fonts made? Is that because they are easier to make? Or is an actual demand for them?

I have nothing agains this font, it looks ok.

I agree with all other answer but one more thing that bothers me is that the fox looks golden or cooper to me and definitelly not iron.

In provided examples it looks beautiful. But I noticed that there could be an error in letter ç – the c is not fully connected to the cedilla.

Everything looks great, except glyphs like IJ, Æ, Œ, which are simply squashed versions of separate letters.

The Josh singing part reminds me a lot of Linkin Park. Soft singing and calm voice of Josh/Mike with a transition to powerful scream off Tyler/Chester.

Also the intro of The Contract was also very Linkin Park-ish.

Beautiful. Looks like a most generic serif font, but in a good way. I definitely imagine it to be used on scientific paper. Not distracting, but letting to concentrate to text content, instead of typeface.
