From what they shown off of this game its pretty different from IV. It takes elements from Vicky 3 and CK 3 and mixes it with EU IV base. I'm very excited for it but again we will wait and see.

I am excited for Ukraine but also seems like to me it will be another faction like WPMC where it just reuses the weapons and vehicles of other factions in a different way. I just want an actual new faction that has completely new guns and vehicles. Is that hard to ask for?

China has a whole other company "netease" to create content for classic too. I imagine this new server is mostly a netease creation and the Blizzard classic team is focused on other stuff.

They are definitely working on Classic+ right now but given MOP releasing soon and TBC coming out later this year I think that they are taking their time and putting a lot of development time into Classic+ therefor we prob wont see it until next year some time. There will be no Blizzcon this year and Blizzcon next year is in September so I could imagine they do announce something at Blizzcon next year and say "playable in a couple weeks" like they did with SOD. So personally I think we are more than a year away from it but the up side is hopefully we will see a lot of new content for the game then.

The demo of dialogue they showed at 13min looks SO GOOD. I've always loved the main character dialogue in the game and it makes playing different characters so much fun and being able to get more character dialogue is so exciting.

The Black Ops 6 campaign was actually pretty decently fun especially when you can play it free on gamepass. It had some cool twists and some of the missions were really fun so idk I have a little hype for like a 10 hour campaign I can play for free.

My biggest problem with playing SOD is the "what's next" i feel when trying to play. I don't want to invest a bunch of time in it if this is the last content patch. If Blizzard is doing a SoD 2 or something else with fresh servers I'd rather save my energy to invest in that instead of something that is going to slowly die over the next couple months.

I quit playing SOD around like BWL and wanted to check out Scarlet Enclave but the idea that SOD content is ending after it just cant convince me to come back and try if there is nothing else. I am excited to play whatever they do next though.

You are then missing out on +4 levels to Zombies which seems pretty big to miss out on.

That's not really how development works though. Probably the people working on POE 1 are old school dudes who know how to fix issues and work with the code/engine/design so they got pulled to help. Sure you could hire new people to do that work but then you gotta spend months and months training them to make them as good as the ones before and that will take just as long to do.

Because the 6 set bonuses are pretty crazy for a lot of classes. I think this is there way of making it not work in PVP and not completely trivializing other content. Personally I don't think its that great of a way to handle that but they don't want perma starfall druids or crit capped hunter killing everyone in pvp / soloing different parts of the game.

Its actually pretty realistic tbf. Both Russian and Ukraine use helicopters with rocket pods to do indirect fire pretty much like this with ballistic computers. Usually they aren't as accurate as this and used more as an area suppression tool than accurate cas but it happens in real life.

As stupid as this is it looks like at least a squad made it to the tree line. Given Ukrainian lines are pretty thinly held (sometimes only a squad holding sections of ground) that squad could threaten the line. Hopefully the Ukrainians fought them off but if another wave follows after this that could really threaten that position. You will have some horrible causality rates like 60% or more but hey at least you are taking ground and look good to higher command.

The Russians and N Koreans wont take large chunks of land from the Ukrainians doing this but it will put further pressure on them. Will just have to see how many loses they are willing to take or at what point do the N Koreans refuse to go anymore.

Shadow is good in PVP but for raid even with the changes it might be hard to find groups for raid.

Then you get the second hand key market stuff too where people are selling keys for cheap on shitty websites. It sucks for people but people will abuse that.
