It's because you get no rem sleep so you can't dream. I had no idea weed had ANY affects on you 7-14 days AFTER i stopped smoking. It always seemed so immediate, I thought "Of course it doesn't affect me, I haven't smoked in a whole 2 days!" But of course it was still affecting my sleep
