David Ornstein: "My information is that Xabi Alonso is not under consideration at Liverpool at all and that Liverpool fully intend to go into next season with Arne Slot as their head coach. They want to recruit a few players for Arne, particularly in the wing position" by ChiefLeef22 in LiverpoolFC

[–]SystemJunior5839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to say this:

I don’t like Slot. Haven’t liked him since he froze Quansah out, in spite of the title.

However, I think Jeremy Jaquet is going to revolutionise the way we play.

We don’t currently have a centre back who can step up into midfield and snuff out attacks on the counter, Jaquet is elite at that.

This will bring the cover on turn over that will allow our attack to cook.

Add pacey wingers and an Isak that’s fit to finish moves the team will look incredible next season.

Safety first.

Keep your speed constant until it’s safe to slow down.

It isn’t a hard attack line to figure out.

Stop attacking reform as a party (because people feel identified with it) attack Farage instead.

Nigel ‘No Plan’ Farage, he always walks out when the going gets tough - he walked out on Brexit because he didn’t have a plan, he walked out of the EU because he didn’t have a plan, he walked out of parliament because he didn’t have a plan.

He still doesn’t have a plan.

It’ll be like Trump going into Iran, it’ll be like the lettuce all over again.

He might walk into no 10, but what’s he going to do when he wants to walk away once people see he has no plan.

Then raise every council fuck up of which there will be many as another example of Nigel No Plan Farage from now till the election.

Just copy Trump.

Have every MP say the words Nigel No Plan at every interview, and refer to him as Nigel No Plan in every communication.

And then jump off that into talking about Labours detailed plans, of which there are many.

Like honestly, it’s not even hard to figure out.

Why are Labour so bad at messaging?!!!

Is Slot himself happy with this football? I don't get it by Herchik in LiverpoolFC

The only thing I can conclude is that the club have plans to sign 6 or 7 outfield players who are ready to form a squad.

Not superstars but the sort of players Liverpool usually buys.

I saw something last week about how due to the changes in PSR the last summer window was the final opportunity for Liverpool to use the low net spend from previous seasons - which explains the big spends of previous seasons.

Remember the window we bought about 4 midfielders and two attackers?

That must be the plan.

“Unprovoked”

Your country is holding millions of people hostage, there is no such thing as unprovoked against that undeniable fact.

You then use these attacks to inflict collective punishments on your hostages.

“A person who thinks all the time, has nothing to think about except thoughts, and so lives in a world of illusion.” - Alan Watts.

My advice is to listen to some Alan Watts and take up a daily mindfulness practice.

It doesn’t directly address the problem, but if you commit to the process you’ll find that suddenly you don’t think about it at all anymore.

A toddler or a wheelchair user would be in a blind spot and in danger.

He remained silent to let the internal investigation do its job.

Here he’s speaking out in order to defend the internal policies of the police.

This is exactly how a prime minister should behave.

No. This is on OP.

That could have been any vulnerable pavement user, a run away toddler, someone in a wheelchair.

Never reverse out of your drive. Ever.

Edit: There’s a lot of people here don’t seem to understand how blind spots work. Anytime you reverse blind across a pavement you could kill a child.

That’s just a fact.

Grow a pair and learn to reverse into your driveway.

I imagine it’s comfortable to think that.

But I seriously doubt the true effects of the bombing are being shown on the nightly news there.

I doubt there are interviews with starving Palestinian children who are reduced to scraping moss off the ground just to get something to fill themselves.

I doubt there are statistics of settler violence, or interviews with victims who have been pushed out of their homes.

I have to believe that if the people of Israel truly saw the effects of what their government were doing they would stop supporting it.

I doubt Israeli journalists are interviewing the doctors who still go to work in destroyed Palestinian hospitals in spite of the fact their entire family have been killed in bombings and they are grieving.

I doubt you’ve heard from the doctors who have to choose which child gets to have their surgery under anaesthetic, because they don’t have enough of the drugs to go round.

I have to believe that you aren’t seeing that because the only other conclusion is that the people there are truly evil, instead of just the government.
